The texture is perfect for a clean application in summer, which I really appreciate. At first, I was a bit surprised by how watery and liquid-like it was. Suitable for all skin types. I apply it generously, follow up with a hydrating moisturizer, and when I wake up in the morning, my complexion looks brighter and feels deeply hydrated. - hs****Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedJun 25, 2025
Effective for improving blemishes, dark spots, and acne scars: Thanks to a complex of ingredients including 2% alpha-arbutin, niacinamide, and tranexamic acid, I noticed my dull complexion becoming clearer and more refined in just 1-2 weeks of use. Lightweight and non-sticky watery texture: Despite its water-like consistency, it absorbs quickly without pilling, making it perfect for morning routines. Gentle and suitable for sensitive skin: Free from fragrance, alcohol, and oils, it's well-tolerated by sensitive skin types, with minimal redness or irritation. Results may take time to appear: Rather than instant brightening, you'll need to use it consistently to gradually fade pigmentation. If you're expecting quick results from using it alone, you might be slightly disappointed. Some may find it slightly lacking in hydration: While it contains hyaluronic acid, on dry or cold days, I'd recommend pairing the serum with a cream or oil rather than using it solo. For more effective pigmentation care, try layering 2-3 coats of the serum after your toner in your evening routine, followed by a rich cream. Sunscreen is a must! When using the serum regularly in the morning, always pair it with SPF to help prevent dark spots and blemishes. If you have super sensitive skin or are new to the product, start by using a small amount every other day to adjust. For skin without blemishes, gently pat it in daily for long-lasting tone improvement. - an********Oily SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesEnlarged PoresJun 25, 2025
I'm using COSRX serums with Vitamin C, Niacinamide, and Retinol, but this product has the largest volume and is the most affordable among them. While other COSRX serums worked really well for me, this one made my skin unusually dry and even caused blemishes, so I had to stop using it after just a week... I think I'll stick to the serums I was using before. - t0**********Dry SkinSebum/BlackheadsDead Skin CellsRecommendedJun 24, 2025
My skin tends to be dry and rough, but after using this for a few days, it's become so smooth! I think I'll only buy it here from now on, not at Olive Young. I bought it on sale, so it's great value for money. To be honest, I can't think of any downsides. As someone with super sensitive skin, I'm always on the lookout for products that work hard to hydrate without causing irritation. This one absorbs well and really evens out my complexion. It's not sticky at all and doesn't cause any pilling when I layer it with other products. I'm impressed by how it balances oil and moisture, leaving my skin with that coveted Inner Glow. If you're dealing with combination dehydrated skin or deep dryness, this might be your new go-to! - tm********Dehydrated SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedJun 23, 2025
After consistently using this product on my areas with hyperpigmentation, I've noticed a definite lightening of those spots. This product is perfect for the current weather when strong UV rays can damage and dull the skin, especially during summer. The watery texture makes it easy to apply lightly, which I really appreciate. I didn't really feel like it provided the brightening effects or hydration boost it claimed to. Apply it diligently every morning and evening to see a reduction in hyperpigmentation! With the intense UV exposure we're experiencing now, you're likely to see more blemishes appearing. Give this product a try to combat that! - jj********Combination SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsRecommendedJun 23, 2025
I bought this because it's supposed to be good for improving pigmentation and blemishes, and I can definitely see my skin tone evening out a bit. It feels a bit sticky when applying, which isn't the most pleasant sensation. I'm just using it for hydration at this point. While the product shows promise in addressing skin discoloration, the texture might not be ideal for everyone. It seems to work better as a moisturizer than a targeted treatment for some users. - wk******Dry SkinSensitive SkinJun 22, 2025
COSRX products generally have high satisfaction rates... There's a strong, unpleasant smell that makes it impossible for me to use. I can't really tell if it's effective, and I wonder why they'd use such a scent for whatever benefits it's supposed to have. If it worked well, I wouldn't even complain. I tried to bear with it, but I didn't see any improvements. The color is a bit light brown and it feels sticky... It seems this user had a very negative experience with a COSRX product, primarily due to its strong scent and lack of noticeable results. They found the smell off-putting and questioned the necessity of such a fragrance. Despite persevering with use, they saw no skin improvements. They also noted issues with the product's color and texture, describing it as light brown and sticky. - jt*****Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJun 19, 2025
The moisture level is quite impressive. I highly recommend this product for its hydrating properties. No complaints here. Just wish they'd offer more discounts. Otherwise, it's all good. The translation maintains the positive tone of the good text, emphasizing the hydrating qualities. For the bad text, I've interpreted the colloquial Korean expressions into more natural English, while keeping the core message about wanting more discounts. - mj*******Combination SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessRecommendedJun 16, 2025
I wanted to try a functional skincare product, so I decided to give this a shot. Among vitamin C, retinol, and niacin, vitamin C is inconvenient to store, and retinol seemed too strong for me, so I opted for a 5% niacin formula. I've been using it since early June. At first, I applied just a drop or two on each cheek, but as my skin got used to it and I no longer felt any irritation, I increased to about a full dropper. The most amazing thing is that during exam periods when I'd pull all-nighters, my skin used to get red and rough. But now, after applying this and properly hydrating, my skin condition remains quite good. It's been less than a month, so I'll need to use it longer to be sure, but so far I haven't had any blemishes and it seems to work well. Once I finish this, I might try the 15% version. It feels like it's bringing out the best in my skin. There's a slight tingling sensation when you first apply it, but it gets better with continued use. Applying it directly to bare skin after cleansing or using it liberally like a regular hydrating serum or toner might cause irritation. If you've experienced blemishes from products like this, try using a tiny amount or mixing it with other products, then gradually increase the quantity. - we****Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJun 16, 2025
This is a must-have in my evening skincare routine. With consistent use, I've noticed my complexion has brightened, and I've been using it without any major blemishes. The texture is slightly runny, like a watery serum. It has a subtle yellow tint, so I only use it at night. This product also has a yellowish tint, which can stain bedding. For best results, apply this product as part of your evening skincare regimen. The slight yellow hue may transfer to pillowcases or sheets, so it's advisable to let it absorb fully before going to bed. If you're concerned about staining, consider using a silk pillowcase or waiting a bit longer before lying down.
