Wow, I spotted this on Instagram during a sale and thought I'd give it a shot. As someone who usually avoids retinol products due to skin sensitivity, I wasn't initially drawn to it. But the rave reviews convinced me to try. Surprisingly, even when I apply it generously, there's no irritation at all - maybe because it's retinal? It absorbs well into my skin, and the day after using it, my complexion looks incredibly smooth and radiant. The generous size allows me to use it liberally, so I make sure to apply it as the first step in my skincare routine every time. I'm not seeing much difference in terms of pore reduction. I thought retinol was supposed to be good for pores, but maybe retinal works differently? I haven't noticed any significant improvement in that area. I've experimented with using this at different stages in my routine, but I've found it works best as the very first step, right before toner!
