When I saw they released a new yuzu fragrance, I bought it out of excitement and curiosity, and I'm absolutely thrilled with it. I generally enjoy citrus scents like lemon, yuzu, and lime as they give me a refreshing feeling. While I prefer citrus scents for various wash products (body, hand), I've often found citrus-scented perfumes or body mists can sometimes smell a bit sour when mixed with body odor. However, The Body Shop's yuzu body mist is different. The moment you spray it, a realistic yuzu scent bursts forth, instantly lifting your mood. Instead of leaving a sour aftertaste, it leaves a sweet lingering scent. It's almost like the aroma of candied yuzu! Not just the yuzu scent, but all of The Body Shop's body mists seem to have a much shorter lasting power compared to other brands. The scent is almost gone right after spraying, and the lingering fragrance doesn't last long. Since it's not a perfume, I've come to accept this and use it more as a mood lifter after showering, like part of my routine. Considering the volume and lasting power, the regular price feels a bit steep. I think using this alongside citrus-scented wash products would double the refreshing effect! Try to grab it during The Body Shop's sales for a better deal!
