This is a tint I use quite often because it's pretty and the color is versatile. It's a perfect medium pink without any yellow or overly pink undertones. While it's a great shade for a base, it can feel a bit plain when worn alone. - ha*********Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedApr 8, 2025
The color is absolutely gorgeous! It's the perfect light pink shade that cool-toned beauties can effortlessly apply for a stunning bare-lip look. It's just so pretty... There's nothing really disappointing about it! I highly recommend cool-toned beauties to give it a try. - gk********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedApr 6, 2025
This famous tint, especially shade 14 'Heungchit Lychee', was missing from Olive Young's test and I couldn't find proper lip swatches on Naver, so I decided to try it myself. Please appreciate my effort! In order, the photos show: My lip swatch - Official website photo - Hand swatch - Stain First, my skin info: Personal color: Warm-cool sensitive, high brightness, medium-low chroma, medium-low muddiness. Best suited for yellowish Summer Cool Light. Skin tone: Body is 13-17, face is 21 - fair skin. I've only had my personal color analyzed once, but even before that, all my acquaintances were split between Summer Cool and Winter Cool. I'm definitely cool-toned, so I hope this helps other cool-toned folks. To cut to the chase: If you have fair skin, are Cool Light or Fair, and want a subdued lip color with a light undertone? Get this without hesitation. 👍 Incredible staining: I've tried all the moisturizing tints known for longevity and staining power, but this one's the best in the field. It's amazing how well it stains despite not being an intense color! 👍 Amazing plumpness: After a while, a glow or oil-like finish appears. And it's seriously beautiful. 👍 Doesn't transfer: Usually, moisturizing tints come off even when you drink water and leave marks on cups. This one only loses its oil part and barely transfers. It's revolutionary! 👍 Doesn't darken over time: Milky colors with a white base often turn reddish and change a lot as time passes. This one doesn't do that, which is great. 👎 Different from official swatches: As always, the actual color differs quite a bit from the official swatches. Even the packaging color is different! The official site shows a clear color, but as you can see from my actual lip/hand swatches, it has much more of a white base, making it look milky and slightly muted. The full lip photo on the official site is somewhat closer to reality. 👎 Stain turns slightly warm: This is also a common issue... something we have to compromise on. When will we get a cool-toned lip product that stains true to color? Still, it's not too bad in this case. ✔️ If you're into subdued colors with a light undertone, like 'mlbb' or 'my lips but better' shades, trust me and give this a try (like I did). ✔️ Shade 7 'Shy Guava' is popular, but if you're cool-toned and sensitive to warm-cool like me, it's quite warm. Go for this one instead! Shade 7 might look lovely and fresh on those between Spring and Summer. ✔️ By the way, in my lip swatch, I applied this over Colorgram's new shade 'Cement'. It really creates a nice, natural blank canvas for your lips. I highly recommend it, even if you don't use it with this tint. - bo****Dehydrated SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedDec 15, 2024
I have a cool undertone and use shade 21! • I've been searching for a product with a light color payoff, hydrating feel, and a slight staining effect since bold lips don't suit me well. This product is exactly what I needed! • It has a milky, slightly light, and muted pretty pink color that's perfect as a base lip product. If you have very fair skin, it could even work well on its own! • The texture is close to a gloss, but as time passes, it slightly sinks in, giving a staining effect. You might notice the color intensifying as you reapply. • The glossy finish lasts impressively long, living up to its 'Tanghulu Lip' name. • The small packaging makes it convenient to carry around. • When layering the color or applying over foundation, it can create slight white clumps, so I recommend applying it on bare lips! Applying shade 15 Peach Blossom to the inner part of your lips creates a subtle, beautiful effect.
