While I've raved about Daiso's Curesonar toner before, this one definitely has superior performance. The texture is fluid but not completely watery - it has a slight slip that helps it cling to the skin. For a watery toner, it's surprisingly good at locking in moisture. I found I could use fewer layers than usual and still get great hydration. Considering I used it in the dead of winter, I'd say its moisturizing power is impressive. In early February when my skin was at its driest, it felt a tad insufficient, but as the weather improved, it became perfectly adequate. I think those with combination to oily skin would love this even in winter, while it'd be ideal for dry skin types in summer. Another plus is that it's free from any irritating fragrances or ingredients. It's a versatile product that would suit just about anyone. The main drawback is that I didn't notice any brightening effects. I've used other niacinamide products before with visible results, but even after two months of use, I didn't see any difference with this one. That's a bit disappointing. Also, while the hydration is good, the price point feels a bit high if you're buying it solely for moisture. My mom used this, but it was so watery it just ran off her skin. I never heard her say anything positive about it. It's just mediocre - neither good nor bad. I'd recommend buying something else instead of this product.
