ConsI thought it absorbed well, but it doesn't seem to work with my current sunscreen. When I apply cushion foundation on top, it tends to pill

The texture is translucent and absorbs well like a hydrating moisturizer 2. Has an almost unscented fragrance 3. Seems to slightly fade blemishes, though it's difficult to notice significant changes during a short period of use
Cons1. Lacks sufficient hydration and richness for combination to dry skin types to use as a cream (based on late summer to early fall use) 2. If applied too generously, it may cause a slight pilling effect 3. A tube container would have been more convenient and hygienic to use
TipExcept for oily skin types or during peak summer, it feels a bit light to use as a cream. It works well when mixed with a richer regenerating cream for added nourishment

The ingredients are gentle, and with alpha arbutin, it seemed promising for reducing dark spots and blemishes. What's great is that despite being a functional cream, which can be challenging for sensitive skin, this Mela Cream contains many cica ingredients, making it suitable for delicate skin types. It was fantastic that even those with super sensitive skin could use it without any irritation or tingling sensation. The absorption is excellent too. It has a texture between a cream and a gel, spreading easily. At first, it felt a bit thick when applying, but it quickly absorbed into the skin. After using it for a few days, I noticed my complexion seemed to have evened out a bit. With consistent use, I believe it could really brighten the skin.
ConsEven for those with normal skin, there was some deep dryness during the changing seasons. It might be better suited for use in summer. When I used it during the day, I experienced some pilling under makeup, so now I only apply it at night.

When applied as the final step after other skincare products, it leaves a smooth, non-greasy finish. After a beach trip, I noticed freckles appearing on my forehead and temples. I used this product along with a moisturizer and vitamin treatment for intensive care. Surprisingly, after about 5 days, the sudden freckles became almost invisible. It felt like I conducted my own clinical trial! I'm eager to finish the whole bottle, as I believe with consistent use, even stubborn freckles will fade over time.
ConsDue to the niacinamide content, it can pill slightly when applied before makeup or with mineral sunscreens.
TipIt's great for night care or on mornings when I'm staying in. Applying it generously not only provides excellent hydration but also brightens my complexion, allowing me to wake up with plump, healthy-looking skin.
