As someone with deep dryness and oily skin, finding the right toner was challenging. This product, however, effectively addressed my deep hydration needs, which I really appreciated.

I mix it with salicylic acid products like Cleartine or Cleartoc, which you can find at pharmacies, before applying.

The dispenser doesn't work very well, and the texture is slightly viscous.

Absorption: It applies smoothly and absorbs well, leaving the skin feeling moisturized. I really liked that.

Ingredients: Despite containing five active ingredients, I didn't experience any blemishes (used for 2 weeks).

Effectiveness: I could feel the hydration and soothing effects, so I plan to purchase it again in the future.

The texture is like a water toner, but when you apply it to your face, it has more viscosity than a typical water toner. It's like a very thin essence.

For hydration, I usually have to layer water toners multiple times, but with this one, applying it once was enough! After application, my skin feels firm and plump, and even in winter, I didn't experience any deep dryness. It was excellent for combating dehydration and providing moisture.

As for the scent, probably due to its high green tea content, it has a slightly bitter green tea aroma.

Regarding soothing properties, while I don't have blemish-prone skin and can't fully judge its calming effects, I didn't experience any breakouts while using it and found it pleasant to use overall.

This might be great for deep dryness during winter.

I tried using it during the seasonal change and my PMS period when I had small bumps, redness, and blemishes all at once. Unfortunately, it caused a burning sensation and my skin felt hot, so I had to stop using it for a while. However, I was able to use it without issues normally.

I loved how quickly it absorbs! I usually dislike strong fragrances in skincare products, but this one has an almost scentless formula which I really appreciated. Compared to the Dokdo toner I normally use, which has a very watery consistency, this product has a texture that's about 60% toner and 40% serum. It was better for my deep dryness, and left a slight rich feeling on my skin!

The scent... personally, it wasn't to my taste! It's not too strong though, so it's tolerable.

At first, I thought it might be a watery toner, but when I applied it, I found the consistency to be somewhere between a watery toner and a slightly thicker one, leaning more towards the watery side! I think it would be great for layering during seasonal transitions, so I'd definitely recommend it for this time of year!

I wanted to apply the toner directly to my skin, but the product lid was a bit annoying. This was especially inconvenient when trying to apply it without a cotton pad. I think it would be better if the nozzle was just a bit smaller.

Although it's designed as a soothing toner, it didn't seem to suit my skin very well. Unfortunately, I experienced some blemishes after using this product. It might have clogged my pores... I guess this is one of those cases where individual results may vary.

I expected a watery consistency, but it actually has a texture somewhere between water and a viscous toner. The formula is optimized for quick absorption. Even without applying a lot, the toner alone could address some deep dryness! 

The texture is also suitable for a toner mask, so it could be great for cooling the skin before makeup.

The scent isn't overpowering, which made it even more pleasant to use.

Pro tip: None really... It's nice that it doesn't drip when applied right after showering. Layering helps it absorb well and feels hydrating, but for my dry skin, I still need to follow up with a hydrating serum and moisturizer.

While it feels hydrating when applied in multiple layers, it's slightly disappointing. I didn't notice any significant blemish-soothing effects.

Skin type: Combination-dry, sensitive. Fermented ingredients and shea butter don't suit me, but soothing ingredients like tea tree, houttuynia cordata, and cica work well. I used to have blemish-prone skin, but it's much better now. I still use acne skincare. I'm extremely sensitive to fermented ingredients, so I have to be careful.

Product texture: Light green, runny consistency. It's clear but absorbs well when layered multiple times.

Irritation & feel: Applies comfortably without irritation. The more you layer, the more hydrated it feels. It's refreshing on my face, which tends to get oily and prone to blemishes in summer.

Scent: It's supposed to be unscented, but there's a slight fragrance - maybe minty? It's hard to describe, but it's not overpowering and pleasant to use.

There's not really anything to complain about. If I had to mention one thing, I wish it came in a larger size!

Skin type - Acne-prone, combination dehydrated skin

The scent - I'm not sure what exactly it smells like, but it's not overpowering, so I think even those with super sensitive skin would be comfortable using it!

When I first put it on my hand, the texture was like water, so I thought I might only use it as a mask. But even when applying it normally, it took care of my deep dryness and left my skin feeling hydrated after just one or two applications - I loved it!

I was concerned because some reviews mentioned it sitting on top of the skin, but for my combination dehydrated skin, it absorbed well without that feeling and left a fresh finish!

Usually when I have performances, my heavy makeup causes blemishes or itchiness the next day. But after using this product, the redness subsided and overall my skin felt much more stabilized!

There weren't any particular downsides for my skin with this product.

Impressions after using about 1/3 of the product:

The consistency is between a watery toner and an exfoliating toner. Despite its texture, it doesn't feel sticky after application and leaves a refreshing finish.

It absorbs quickly. I was worried it might take longer to sink in since it's not a completely watery toner, but surprisingly, it absorbs immediately, making it easy to use.

✅ Feel & Ingredients
As the product name suggests 'soothing', it seems to have excellent calming effects. I go swimming, and when I layer it twice on my heated skin after swimming, I feel it's more soothing compared to other skincare products. There's absolutely no tingling sensation even when used on irritated skin after swimming.

It contains green tea water, which I think works particularly well for combination dehydrated skin that leans towards oily like mine.

Highly recommended as a calming toner! It seems to be a product that people whose skin tends to heat up easily can use without irritation.

I do the 7-skin method, layering this toner until it's absorbed. I finish with two original essences and this toner twice more for a hydration boost!

While it's perfectly hydrating and nice for the current milder weather, it might be slightly drying in winter? Probably best suited for spring through fall!

Light and hydrating toner (moisturizing power between a watery toner and a cream skin) Perfect for spring and fall!

I found it particularly helpful for deep dryness and calming when I soaked a cotton pad and placed it on especially dry areas!

It stings if it gets into your eyes. Also, I wish the bottle came in a larger size.

As someone with sensitive, acne-prone skin, I absolutely loved how the Centella Soothing Toner absorbs without any irritation. It feels like a thin layer of hydration coating my skin. I'll likely use it frequently in spring and summer. I'd recommend it for sensitive and combination skin types. It's also incredibly helpful for deep dryness, so even those with oily skin might find it beneficial.

There are no downsides! However, please refrain from applying it directly to your face. It may cause a tingling sensation in the eyes. It's truly hydrating, and I'd highly recommend this product.

After using it for about a week or two, I found that it caused minimal skin irritation. While using this toner, my skin texture seemed to become smoother, more hydrated, and softer. I appreciated that the scent wasn't artificial. It didn't dry out quickly, and the product's ingredients are all EWG green-rated, which is reassuring. The best part is that it's completely free of harmful ingredients, making it comfortable even for those with sensitive skin. If you're concerned about blemishes, I think it would be worth giving this a try.
