I didn't really look into the cost-effectiveness since it was a freebie. The cost-effectiveness is not that great.
The fragrance doesn't last very long. It has a subtle scent when applied, but it becomes unscented as soon as I go outside and become active.

The fact that it was a compact type and the pattern on the outside of the container was maintained even with continued use was good. 
It has a body butter texture as the name suggests. It is thick but the spreadability is not bad.
The moisturization was not bad (though not greatly good either).
The best part was that it did not feel sticky.
You can apply it and immediately go outside without it feeling sticky.

Price-wise, if I hadn't received it as a gift, I'm not sure I would have chosen this product for myself.

Packaging:
I've tried both packaging options. While the clear container showcases the product's unique marbled appearance nicely, the tube packaging is far more convenient for everyday use. The star-shaped opening of the tube is a delightful touch, as the product comes out maintaining a bit of that star shape, which adds a fun element to the experience.

Scooping it out might be a bit unhygienic. A tube packaging would be more convenient to use!
