Pros
I have combination dehydrated skin that's super sensitive. With other products, I always felt like I couldn't get enough hydration, and there was always excess oil on my nose and forehead that I couldn't deal with. This product doesn't provide a ton of hydration, but it maintains a great neutral balance. It finishes with a slightly matte feel, but rather than being dry, it feels fresh and clean. I'm personally very satisfied with it. When applying, if you don't control the amount well, it can feel like it's pilling rather than absorbing. Interestingly though, after some time, the skin feels both soft and firm, which I really love. I intend to repurchase when I run out.

I used this product every morning and evening for a week from December 13th to 19th. First off, the texture is an opaque cream type, and it's incredibly moisturizing and wonderful. Being in my 40s, maintaining skin elasticity and hydration is crucial at this age... I now understand why they recommend applying it as the first step. Without exaggeration, the moment you apply it, you can feel the moisture rising in your skin and an instant boost in elasticity. You know those cosmetic ads where you see collapsed skin layers filling up and becoming smooth? It feels exactly like that - like the skin surface is being evenly filled. At my age, if I don't apply toner after cleansing, fine lines and dryness are immediately visible. Since I have combination skin, cream textures tend to make my makeup look a bit patchy, so I rarely use creams or only apply a very thin layer of moisturizer as the last step. I was worried that starting with such a plumping effect might make my makeup slide off, but that's not the case at all. However, when I tested it by applying all my usual products at once (toner, 3 types of ampoules, and a cream moisturizer) followed by foundation, it did pill slightly. But when I used toner, 2 types of ampoules, and a gel moisturizer, then applied cushion foundation instead, there was no pilling at all. From the third day, I started applying it to my neck as well, and I highly recommend it! I have severe neck wrinkles, and with the loss of moisture and elasticity, my neck was really beyond help... but feeling the increase in hydration and firmness makes it look much more vibrant. Personally, at night, I pat the product in two or three times immediately after applying it, then quickly follow with a Vitamin C ampoule. I feel like the residual amount left on the skin mixes well with the ampoule after it's absorbed into the dermis. In the morning, I thoroughly pat in the product until it's completely absorbed, then use a hydrating ampoule. This routine seems to keep my skin moisturized and vibrant until the afternoon.

Usage Period: Feb 17 - Dec 25 (9 days of use) Effects: - While I'm unsure about its wrinkle-fighting abilities, it surprisingly improved my skin barrier. (That's why the effects might not be obvious in photos.) Before use, my skin barrier was compromised, causing burning sensations with any product application, poor absorption of skincare, and rough texture. This serum absorbed exceptionally well into such problematic skin. After layering it 3 times before bed, my skin barrier noticeably recovered by the next morning. - It's incredibly gentle. There was absolutely no burning sensation upon application. No acne breakouts occurred. - It reduces deep dryness. - Consistent use seems necessary for wrinkle improvement. I've been using this for about two weeks, and I can feel my skin texture improving!
