  I was lucky enough to be selected as one of The Hwahae Testers! Skin condition: Oily + acne-prone skin = lots of sebum, irregular sleep patterns often lead to clogged pores and blemishes. Hydrating moisture: As the weather's gotten chillier, I've been worried about my skin cracking and developing dead skin cells. Fortunately, Anua provides great hydration. It's perfect to apply after using an exfoliating toner! Gentle formula: I have super sensitive skin that often reacts badly to products, but I've used Anua toner before, so I felt confident trying their emulsion. Thanks to its mild ingredients, I didn't experience any irritation after application! Finish: This emulsion has the typical unscented formula and a rich cream texture, but it absorbs quickly into the skin for a smooth finish! I use it with the toner from the same line, and they work perfectly together.

  Cons

  Zero oiliness: It doesn't feel rich at all, and I wouldn't recommend it for those who don't react well to Houttuynia Cordata extract. It might be too drying for those with dry skin.

  Tip

  Final thoughts: Not recommended for dry skin or those sensitive to Houttuynia Cordata! If you're looking for a reliable daily emulsion, I'd recommend this one. Using it with other products from the same line creates great synergy.

  As the seasons changed, my skin that had only been using ampoules and essences started to crack and develop dead skin cells. I've never used an exfoliating toner before, just applying a hydrating serum and moisturizer on bare skin. However, I really dislike the heavy feeling after application. This product absorbs quickly into the skin without leaving any residue, making it feel refreshingly light! My husband, who absolutely detests sticky skincare, tried it once and loved how fresh it felt - he even said he'd only use this from now on. While my husband uses this as an all-in-one product, I apply a layer of hydrating serum first, which helps maintain moisture. I also appreciated that it's fragrance-free. Unlike other emulsions, it comes in a pump bottle, making it more hygienic to use. The tall bottle also makes quite a statement on my vanity!

  For those with extremely dry skin or during the depths of winter, you might want to follow up with a cream after this Anua product. While it definitely provides hydration, it lacks richness, so it might feel like it dries quickly.
