The downside is that it gets used up too quickly when it's covered in cotton, unfortunately. That's unavoidable.

I purchased the jojoba essence to alleviate body troubles.
1) The oil content is moderate, so it does not feel excessively oily.
2) It is moisturizing and has been effective on dry, clogged skin troubles.
3) The fragrance is pleasant.

When my skin was really struggling, I would soak a cotton pad with the product and leave it on my skin like a mask. It definitely helped calm things down.
Even when my skin was so sensitive that anything I put on it would cause flaking,
soaking a cotton pad and gently patting it on, then carefully wiping it off,
would return my skin to its normal state for a few hours.
This is my holy grail product!

Right now it's winter and my skin is in a terrible state.
Even applying Vaseline leaves my face dry and stinging...
It's a shame I couldn't try this product when my skin was in a normal condition. I wish I could experience it when my skin is in a better state...

What's that scent? It reminds me of a light floral fragrance. When applied to the face, the scent isn't noticeable. I love how it instantly feels like it's leaving a protective barrier on the skin.

My skin type:
Extremely dry with atopic dermatitis...
When I started using this, my face was cracking, and anything I applied would either evaporate quickly or cause flaking, making my skin even more distressed 😢
Due to facial atopic dermatitis, my hairline, forehead, philtrum, and between my eyebrows were red, flaky, weeping, and in terrible condition...

Application experience:
Honestly, when my skin was at its worst, I didn't notice much difference.
But applying the emulsion and layering this on top creates a nice coating feeling.
Especially in the morning when my skin feels dry and I'm worried washing will make it worse,
smoothing this on once makes my skin feel silky smooth and
the tightness disappears!!

The opening where the product comes out is small, making it difficult to dispense. You also need to shake it before use, which can be a bit of a hassle.

Scent: There's a subtle floral fragrance, which I personally don't like, so it might be a hit or miss for others.

Hydration: My skin is extremely dry, especially around the nose area, but thanks to the oil content, it kept my skin moisturized and prevented my makeup from flaking.

Texture: After application, there was no skin tightness at all. Being oil-based, it did feel a bit rich and slightly greasy, but for those with dry skin, it would be perfect for winter use without being too heavy. However, it might not suit those with oily skin.

Blemishes: It wasn't irritating at all, and I didn't experience any breakouts.

While using jojoba oil alone didn't cause any irritation, the essence stings a bit, probably due to the mix of other ingredients.

I've been using this with jojoba oil, and my blemishes have visibly reduced. The effect is amazing when you apply the oil first, then soak a pad with the essence and leave it on. The hydration is fantastic, so I use it before makeup too. Jojoba oil is my holy grail product!

First off, I was surprised by the packaging! It was so pretty that it instantly lifted my mood, though it did make me think about environmental concerns...

I don't typically have dry skin, so I haven't tried many oil-based essences before. However, as the weather suddenly turned dry, I found this product worked well without being too heavy.

Rather than using it before bed (I prefer skin toners or creams for nighttime), I found it worked best before going out and applying makeup. On dry days, it seemed to help my makeup stay in place nicely.

Since it has a rich texture, it's great to use with gua sha after application.

It's a bit tricky to control the amount when applying directly without a cotton pad. Other than that, I don't have any complaints.

Recently, I couldn't use anything harsh on my face due to inner dryness, itching, and atopic dermatitis, but this product was gentle enough for me to use comfortably.

They claimed it forms a moisture barrier, so I had high hopes when I first applied it. Maybe it's because of the toner+oil combination, but the hydration is absolutely incredible. When you apply it, there's no feeling of it just sitting on top of your skin. Even if I wasn't part of The Hwahae Testers, I'd be 100% ready to buy this as an essential item for fall and winter. My parents tried it too, and they said they didn't feel any deep dryness right after application and really liked it.

And despite being described as rich, it doesn't leave your face feeling greasy at all.

It's really fortunate that it doesn't dispense easily - you don't need to use more than five drops. I haven't tried it yet, but I think it would be great to mix a drop or two with those thick creams or products with poor absorption that I've set aside. Oh, that really does sound good! I'm very satisfied! It seems to have many good ingredients too. There's one not-so-great ingredient, but it's at the very bottom of the list, so it must be in a tiny amount and doesn't worry me. Well, I think it would be great to use when there's harsh, skin-cracking winter wind. Sometimes when my skin gets extra oily, I used it every other day, and occasionally I'd get some small bumps... I'm not sure of the cause. It might be because I ate a lot of greasy food! I don't dislike this product or feel put off by it though, because it's so hydrating!

First of all, I was so touched by the packaging 🥰 It felt like receiving a gift! You can really tell they put a lot of thought into it, which made me even more excited about the product. I have some oiliness in my T-zone, butterfly zone, and chin area, so I thought the Jojoba Essence would be lighter than Jojoba Oil and decided to try it. As expected, it's lightweight and... the hydration is no joke! At first, the oil layer is separated, so you need to shake it vigorously. The bottle feels luxurious too. When you tap it, only two or three drops come out - it's really hard to dispense too much. But that's all you need - three drops for the left side of your face, two more for the right, five drops total is perfect. It's so moisturizing that I thought, 'Huh? Maybe I don't even need to apply cream?' Usually, I apply ampoule then cream, layering the ampoule until my skin feels somewhat hydrated... applying cream to dry skin just feels a bit rough. With this, I don't feel the urgent need to apply cream right away. When I'm just staying at home, using this alone doesn't make my skin feel tight. Looking at the current sale price, I'm definitely considering repurchasing. Using just five drops makes it quite cost-effective too.

Applying a layer before using ampoules or sheet masks makes your skin incredibly moisturized and not dry at all!

If you're still feeling dry in winter no matter what you apply, adding this essence toner as your first step can solve the problem!

I applied this product when my skin was still slightly damp after washing. The oil content helps lock in moisture, making the skin firm and preventing dryness. Then I continued with my usual skincare routine.

Jojoba oil is said to be the closest to our body's natural sebum. It actually helps regulate sebum production, perfectly balancing our skin's oil and moisture levels! While using this, my skin maintained a stable condition, so I really enjoyed it.

My skin tends to break out easily with products that don't suit me, but I had no issues while using this! It's a gentle product that I used worry-free day in and day out.

The opening for the essence is quite small, and since the formula is a mix of oil and essence with a bit of viscosity, the product comes out in tiny amounts! However, you do get used to it with continued use.

I used this product consistently every day for 11 days after receiving it, right up until the review deadline.

As expected with the oil content, there's a rich feel to it. The oiliness isn't overwhelming, but just right, seeming to lock in hydration. As someone with dry skin, I found it perfect for the current dry winter weather!
