I usually apply blush with a brush, but I was curious about this balm-type product, so I decided to give it a try! The color payoff is quite good, and it didn't irritate my sensitive skin. When you rub it with your fingers, it melts slightly and the color shows up nicely. To be honest, since I'm used to using a brush, I'm not quite sure how to apply it with my fingers (like on the tip of my nose or cupid's bow). So I just apply it to my cheeks. I have a 21 shade with a deep undertone, and the color suits me well. I think it would look even better on slightly lighter complexions. The main issue is that the container lid is too close to the balm, making it inconvenient to use. It would have been better if it opened completely. Also, the staying power isn't exceptional. Even if I apply it before work, by the time I'm heading home, a lot of it has faded away.
