  Pros

  Among all the cushion foundations I've tried so far, this one has the best coverage. It's also wonderfully hydrating.

  I didn't really find anything to complain about. There weren't any downsides for me.

  Pros

  I bought this after seeing my friend carrying it around - the case is absolutely gorgeous! My friend has a fair complexion and uses shade 19, so I went for shade 21. Shade 21 creates a natural complexion and subtly covers dark spots. While it doesn't provide complete coverage without concealer, it covers better than other cushions I've tried. It doesn't feel heavy at all, instead leaving my skin feeling hydrated with a natural-looking finish.

  Cons

  While the brightness and color of shade 21 are beautiful, it has a slight yellow undertone that doesn't quite work for my cool-toned skin. I wish they offered different undertones for each shade.

  - Covers pores nicely - Great for dry skin as it's moisturizing - Pleasant scent (probably due to skincare ingredients) - Works really well when used with the ampoule - The cushion applies thinly, not thick - perfect for those who dislike heavy coverage. It's lightweight despite being matte - When applied after skincare, it gives a beautiful skin finish without dryness. Less drying than typical matte formulas - Nice color that's not overly yellow - As it's made by a pharmaceutical company, I felt safe using it. Covers blemishes well - The powdery finish helps with inner dryness while being less sticky. My mother, who dislikes powder, finds this cushion comfortably tacky (I have combination dehydrated skin, but I'm describing my mother's experience as she's the one using this cushion)

  Cons

  - Wish it came in a larger quantity - Applies quite thinly, so you need to control the amount carefully when trying to apply in one go - The price could be more affordable - it's a bit expensive - Using the cushion and ampoule won't dramatically fade blemishes immediately. While it's not ineffective, the results aren't as dramatic as the ads suggest - It claims to have strong coverage for blemishes, freckles, and wrinkles, but it's not extremely high coverage. To achieve that, you'd need to apply multiple layers, which can look unnatural if done hastily. This cushion isn't ideal for quick, heavy application

  I noticed it made my skin dewy and gave me a nice glow. The adherence was surprisingly good in my experience.

  It provides great coverage and is often sold out. I bought it after seeing a home shopping ad claiming it contains ingredients that improve dark spots while you wear it. I already have a cushion foundation I absolutely adore, so I was curious if this could be even better. I had high expectations when I tried it. First off, it's hydrating and feels moisturizing. The application is smooth, and the puff has a nice grip, giving a cool sensation when applying. I only had time to apply an emulsion before using this, but it still gave me a beautiful skin finish. What I loved most was how naturally it covered my blackheads. Next time, I'll try applying it after a full skincare routine.

  I'm not sure if it's because I applied it about a minute after my emulsion, but when I got in the elevator, I noticed some pilling where my glasses sit. The breakdown was a bit disappointing. After 2-3 hours, the moisture seemed to evaporate, and some dry patches became visible. This might be resolved with better skincare prep. For those with combination dehydrated skin like mine, using a setting spray or a product with good staying power might be beneficial.

  Tip

  For those of us with dry, dehydrated skin, here are two methods to try: First, do a thorough skincare routine, wait about 5 minutes after applying emulsion (allowing the skin to absorb it well), then apply the foundation and set it with a fixing spray. Alternatively, after your skincare routine, apply a primer, wait 2 minutes, lightly apply the foundation, and then set it with a fixing spray for a flawless finish.

  Advantages of the Mela B Toning Melasma Ampoule Cushion: • Contains melasma ampoule → We use cushions daily, right? It's fantastic to use a cushion that not only provides coverage but also improves melasma! You'll notice those initially dark, noticeable spots gradually becoming lighter. For even better results, use it alongside a melasma ampoule for synergistic effects! • Incredible coverage and adherence despite being moisturizing → I'm not exaggerating when I say the coverage and adherence are outstanding! Even if this cushion didn't have the melasma ampoule, I'd still use it because it's excellent at covering redness and blemishes, and it stays put so well! I can absolutely vouch for this. When a cushion has great adherence and coverage, I tend to reach for it often. Add the melasma ampoule, and it's become my daily go-to!

  Cons

  The shade range runs a bit dark! Please keep this in mind! As someone who usually sticks to shade 23, I use shade 21 Natural in this cushion!
