If you're like me, I recommend the Clear Tone line. One of Lip Monster's strengths is how it applies sheerly without clumping, allowing you to swipe it on like lip balm even without a mirror. The Clear Tone version seems to maximize this advantage. It's much more transparent with a softer color payoff... it feels more like a tinted lip balm compared to the original Lip Monster. Of course, the color payoff is lower, but it's much less overwhelming. It's great for a bare lips look, and perfect for adding a touch of vitality when you want to tone down your lip color on days with heavier eye makeup. Of the 6 swatches, the top 2 are in indoor lighting, while the bottom 4 are in natural light. As you can see, it gives a very natural peachy lip color, appearing slightly warmer in natural light. The color is like Pink Banana with much of the pigment removed and transparency increased, reminiscent of peach flesh... I love that it retains Lip Monster's signature natural, moderate glow. If you have naturally darker lips, you might barely notice the color payoff
