ConsIt's disappointing that it's not compatible with the existing Banila Co. cushion compacts.

As someone with dry skin, I chose this glow cushion, and I'm pleased it didn't cake or look patchy. If you have a yellowish undertone, I highly recommend shade 21 Rose!
ConsThe coverage isn't as full as a matte cushion. I'd suggest using a concealer along with it for better results.
TipThis cushion foundation strikes a nice balance between radiance and coverage, making it ideal for those seeking a dewy finish without sacrificing too much concealing power. It's particularly suitable for those with dry or dehydrated skin types who want to achieve that coveted "Inner Glow" look. Remember, while it may not provide the same level of coverage as its matte counterparts, it excels in giving your complexion a natural, luminous appearance.

The color matched well, not too red or yellow, which I liked. It's quite moisturizing, so I used it well during winter and the recent seasonal changes when my skin was dry. Now that it's getting warmer, it feels a bit heavy, but it should be fine for those with dry skin. The coverage and adherence are both above average. It didn't break down messily, and it didn't irritate my blemishes, so I'm generally satisfied!
ConsInitially, there's way too much product that comes out, and the puff absorbs a lot of it too. When I first opened it, it seemed like the product was almost pooling. Even though I was satisfied with the product overall, I gave it 3 stars because of this. The compatibility with the applicator seems important! I tried using a spatula and brush to apply it better, but personally, I preferred Wake Make's flat spatula brush.
TipWhen you've just opened it, you need considerable skill to apply it with the included puff. I recommend using different tools!

The staying power is so-so, but overall it's a versatile product that's nice to use for various purposes.
ConsIt tends to emphasize dead skin cells a bit and can flake off easily. However, if you're really thorough with your skincare routine beforehand, it should work better.

I use the White Moisture in summer and fall, and switch to the Skin Pink cushion for the dry winter and spring months. It glides on incredibly hydrating, but sets to a beautiful semi-matte finish. The uniquely shaped puff is perfect for reaching tricky areas like around the nose. It doesn't settle into fine lines and provides excellent coverage. Some people say it goes on too thick, but if you use the amount control pad in the lid, you can achieve a lighter application that's just right. After trying many products, I've found that the Vanilaco line works best for my skin, so I'm sticking with it!
ConsI was expecting a really hydrating formula since it's called a 'skin cushion', but the semi-matte finish was a bit disappointing. Also, if your skincare base isn't solid, it can look slightly patchy. However, it still performs better than cushions from other brands in terms of not separating on the skin.

The coverage is great too! I finish my foundation with a small amount of this cushion, and it doesn't feel heavy at all.
ConsThe only inconvenience is that the cushion keeps separating from the compact, but other than that, no complaints.

The characteristic heaviness of the original Banila Co Moisture Cushion has largely disappeared, making it feel more hydrating! ☑️Coverage Medium to high For a glow cushion, the coverage is quite good, though it doesn't completely conceal everything It covers pores well, but texture coverage was slightly lacking. Blemish coverage was medium to high! The coverage is similar to the Banila Co Moisture Cushion! ☑️Darkening The darkening wasn't severe, but it did get about 0.5 shades darker However, because of the pink base, it did tend to turn slightly ashy after a long time Due to the thin application, your natural skin shows through a bit more ☑️Longevity The longevity seemed fine for daily use ☑️Adherence Once it set, the adherence wasn't bad, but there was a bit of transfer As time passed, some fading or flaking was slightly noticeable ☑️Puff The puff shape was really unique - it's trapezoidal, which made it super convenient It was great for touch-ups around the under-eye area, sides of the nose, and around the mouth
Cons☑️Drawbacks I didn't really have any particular drawbacks to mention

ConsEmphasizes skin texture significantly, tends to separate, and applies quite thick due to its high coverage. Continued use leads to frequent blemishes. Absolutely not recommended for sensitive skin

And the packaging is truly beautiful. Oh, and it doesn't darken your skin too much!
ConsI recommend buying one shade lighter... It's too bright. It covers redness well, but doesn't hide blemishes very effectively. It's also a bit drying.
TipIf you prep your skin well with a good skincare routine, even when it starts to wear off, it fades beautifully.

On the bright side, the coverage was pretty good. The 21 Rosy shade had a lovely ivory tone that was quite pretty. The puff wasn't round but had a tapered edge, which made application easier. Also, the cushion design was really cute.
ConsThe disappointing part was that despite being called an 'essence cushion', it wasn't as hydrating as I expected. If you have dry skin, you'll need to prep your skin well, or it might not sit well. Even with thorough skincare, it still tended to separate around my nose area. At first, it feels somewhat moisturizing, but the finish is more on the matte side. So, I wouldn't recommend it for those with extremely dry skin or those looking for a dewy cushion. Lastly, it's a bit frustrating that the cushion case and the main body tend to separate easily. I won't be repurchasing this product.
TipHere's a tip: spray some facial mist on the cushion puff before applying for a more hydrating application!
