Let me tell you about the texture - there are tiny particles in this cleansing foam, but you can't really feel them. The cleansing effectiveness is so good that you don't even need a second cleanse, even if you're wearing foundation. The consistency is a bit firm, coming out of the tube like a rice cake, but it's not difficult to work with. It dissolves quickly and lathers well. I bought two tubes as part of a promotion and used them both - I'd say it's not bad at all. The only thing is, it's a bit pricey, so I might hesitate to buy it unless it's on sale. While it cleanses well overall, I'm a bit disappointed that it doesn't remove makeup residue or dead skin cells from around the nose. I have to mention this since they focused their advertising on cleansing power. For a foam cleanser, it's good, but it's not quite a replacement for a pore pack. Also, as someone with combination dehydrated skin, I couldn't avoid that tight feeling a few minutes after cleansing. Still, it's better than other cleansing products I've tried! Low pH cleansing foams have less cleansing power than alkaline ones! So I wouldn't recommend this for oily skin (it's not great at removing excess oil). However, it's perfect for dry or super sensitive skin! It even works well for my combination dehydrated skin! It's mildly acidic, but it lathers up amazingly well! I use it for my morning cleanse, and I think it would be perfect for those with oily skin to use without any irritation! There's absolutely nothing bad to say! I think I'm on my fifth bottle now. I really love it! Perfect for morning cleansing routine
