First, the tone improvement is definitely noticeable! I tend to have some pigmentation and freckles, so I focused on that. The freckles didn't improve dramatically, but I saw an overall tone improvement, so I think with continued use, the freckles will improve as well! However, you know it's difficult to suddenly go from your original skin tone to a tone that's 4 shades lighter, right?! Still, I can definitely recommend this for tone improvement and brightening! The application is smooth, and it absorbs well without leaving any residue on the skin. I do have a whitening lotion that I normally use, but this ampoule definitely helps more with tone improvement. The lotion just seemed to maintain my skin, but after using the ampoule for a few days, I suddenly noticed, "Oh, my skin looks a bit brighter!" - that's the kind of effect I experienced.

The product has an appropriate level of moisture. Although my skin is dry, if the moisture is too strong, it can be burdensome to incorporate into my basic skincare routine.
