I'm currently using the MediCube HIFU device, and I received this gel as part of the set. The texture is similar to aloe vera gel, and there's hardly any noticeable scent. It feels more like a medium for transmitting the device's stimulation, if that makes sense? As you use the device, the gel tends to dry out quickly, so you need to reapply it several times. If you don't wipe it off after using the device, it can become uncomfortably sticky. After some trial and error, I've found a solution: I apply the gel, and when it starts to dry out, I spray a bit of water with a mister to make it slippery again. This way, I don't need to wipe it off, and it leaves my skin with just the right amount of hydration. Although I'm allergic to aloe vera gel, this product doesn't cause any allergic reactions. It's also non-irritating and doesn't cause any blemishes, so I'm using it without any issues. It's not a product with any extraordinary features - it simply serves its purpose as a conducting medium. The texture is light and absorbs well into the skin. It works effectively with the HIFU device without causing any burning sensation or tingling. For those with super sensitive skin, this gel could be a good option as it doesn't seem to trigger irritation or redness. However, if you're looking for a gel with additional skincare benefits beyond its use with the device, you might find this product somewhat basic. - xj***Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsDark CirclesWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedJun 3, 2025
I use this when I get HIFU treatments. The volume is generous, and since it's for HIFU, you need to apply a thick layer to reduce discomfort and prevent burns. The absorbs well is incredibly smooth! After the device treatment, the remaining gel on the skin takes quite a while to absorb After using the device, it's better to gently wipe off some of the excess product on your face and then let the rest absorb - hr****Oily SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsMay 30, 2025
I use it as a gel when using devices. Not sure about other uses... After first use, I let it absorb and then layered my usual skincare routine on top. The redness was still visible... It doesn't seem to provide much hydration. It's much better to only use it with devices, then wipe it off with a face towel before applying your regular skincare and finishing up. The reviewer seems to have combination dehydrated skin and is concerned about redness. They found the product works best as a conductive gel for beauty devices rather than as a leave-on skincare step. They didn't notice significant hydration benefits when used alone. - fl*****Combination SkinInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedMay 5, 2025
It works wonderfully with my at-home skincare device. It absorbs well, doesn't pill, and doesn't interfere with other products I apply after my skincare routine. I use it daily without any issues. I'm using it without any complaints. I'm extremely satisfied with this product. Applying a generous amount to my face before using my at-home skincare device seems to enhance its effectiveness. - ke****Oily SkinAcne SkinMay 3, 2025
The packaging is beautiful, and despite the large size, I was able to snag it at a great price during a sale. I'm not sure what doesn't agree with my skin, but when I use this alone, my face turns red and breaks out in folliculitis, just like in the photo. At first, I thought my skin felt congested because I applied it before bed, so I tried using a facial device and washing it off, but I still had the same reaction. It works well with devices, but just doesn't suit my skin. Those with super sensitive skin should be cautious. - sk*******Dry SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedApr 11, 2025
It's refreshingly cool. You can apply it thickly on irritated skin and wash it off later. I found it especially effective when used with a skincare device. There's a bit of stickiness, so you can't sleep with it on. You need to at least rinse it off with water to reduce the tacky feeling. It seems the only option is to apply a generous amount. As you keep applying, you can feel it absorbing into the skin... - ak*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRecommendedMar 30, 2025
I got this as a freebie when I bought the HyFocus device. I only use it as a gel when using the device. It's neither particularly good nor bad. It's a gel type and feels a bit sticky. I probably wouldn't spend my own money on it at this price. - fc********Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMar 4, 2025
Positives: The MediCube Age-R PDRN Booster Gel absorbs quickly into the skin with a lightweight texture, leaving no sticky residue, making it comfortable to use. It's particularly effective for skin elasticity and hydration, giving an instant feeling of moisturized and soft skin. The inclusion of PDRN helps with skin regeneration, so with consistent use, you'll notice your skin becoming healthier. Areas for improvement: As it's a gel type, you need to be careful with the amount used. If you apply too much, it can feel slippery until fully absorbed. Also, those with super sensitive skin might experience some irritation, so it's best to do a patch test before full application. - as*****Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedFeb 9, 2025
As someone with super sensitive skin that's combination dehydrated and prone to deep dryness, I can say this product is absolutely non-irritating and great! I bought it as a set with the High Focus Shot, and it seems to be a perfect match for my skin! When using it with a device, it feels like quite a bit of product goes to waste, which is a shame. It also runs out quickly, which is disappointing. However, you can't really use it sparingly either. Apply it precisely to the areas you want to lift by dotting it on!
