I bought it because I loved the shade... haha!
ConsIt was stinging, drying, and painful. My eczema flared up. It's not moisturizing at all, lacks hydration, and dries out quickly.

As a shade 23 who's become obsessed with brightening, I'm guessing I have a deep undertone (though I'm not sure about my personal color). Whether bare-faced or not, I was looking for something to slap on that's both hydrating and radiant. I usually use Rom&nd's pre-renewal Juicy Lasting Tint in Jujube. Hearing about the renewal, I went to Olive Young to test several and bought the one I liked best. As expected, being an upgrade of the Juicy Lasting line, it's moisturizing and smooth. The formula feels slightly thinner too. The color is a vibrant mix of red, pink, and coral, but it's not as sheer or transparent as a water tint and deepens with layering. Even on bare skin with just a slightly white-cast sunscreen, it adds a nice touch of life without being too opaque. It looks even better with just cushion foundation and blush. Applying it over foundation that neutralizes your natural lip color makes it appear even brighter. However, like other Rom&nd tints, even the brightest, clearest shades can become muted and darker with multiple applications. For someone like me who bought it to use as a natural lip tint over sunscreen with light application, it works pretty well for its intended purpose and looks quite natural.
ConsAt first application, the color is fairly clear and bright. However, it quickly dries out, losing its shine even with good lip balm application. It definitely doesn't give the glossy finish shown in the product photos. Whether you apply a little or a lot, maintaining that proper color payoff with that level of shine seems only possible with the trick of adding lip gloss. The more you layer, the more the pretty color becomes dull and dark. Performance aside, the manufacturer seems to have lost all sense of conscience. They've reduced the product amount while increasing the price? The outer packaging looks prettier with the added transparent layer, but do you see that in the photo? Because of that transparent casing, while the overall volume looks the same, the inner container is significantly smaller than the previous Juicy Lasting Tint. Also, based on reviews and my own observations at Olive Young, the formula tends to leak between the colored inner container and the transparent outer casing. The previous Juicy Lasting had issues with the cap cracking if closed too tightly, and it seems this problem hasn't been resolved either.
TipIt seems to work decently on most skin tones, but it would likely look especially great on fair, warm-toned skin with a soft glow. Even for those with shade 23 or darker skin, applying it lightly on bare skin or over sunscreen can add a natural, pretty flush of color. However, it might not work well if your skin is dark with strong yellow undertones. It also doesn't pair well with yellow-based makeup. To get a color payoff close to its bright original shade, you need to neutralize your natural lip color with foundation first.
