My skin is sensitive and combination, prone to blemishes. I had high hopes for the Arocel Cica Repair Panthenol Mask, as it's said to be great for soothing troubled skin. Here's what I loved: 1. Adherence: At first, I was worried as it didn't stick well, but after 1-2 minutes, it adhered perfectly. Even when I was in a downward-facing dog position, it stayed put without any lifting. 2. Cooling effect: Lately, I've been working out a lot, which causes my face to get red and my pores to open up. After showering, I'd apply this mask straight from the fridge, and it felt so refreshing. Unlike regular sheet masks that warm up due to facial heat, this collagen mask stayed cool even after 2 hours. As summer approaches, I highly recommend this for those who struggle with facial heat.
ConsPerhaps due to my sensitive combination skin, prolonged use led to some blemishes. Also, possibly because of the shea butter, it felt more oily than hydrating and had a slightly sticky texture. I gave one to my dry-skinned roommate to try, and she absolutely loved it. She said her face had a beautiful glow the next morning.
TipRecommended for dry skin! If you have oily skin, I suggest not using it for more than an hour, even if the mask hasn't turned clear yet.

It doesn't slide off or drip, making it easy to go about your activities while wearing it. The mask adheres well without feeling suffocating - perhaps due to the air hole technology? This was definitely the most satisfying aspect for me. Ingredients: With cica and panthenol, I could feel the cooling and soothing effects almost immediately after applying the mask. It seemed to help reduce some redness too. Application time: While I love gel-type masks, I often avoided them due to their long absorption time. However, this one recommends only 15-20 minutes for the active ingredients to be absorbed, which is great. I noticed it becoming transparent faster than other products I've tried.
ConsAlthough my skin had a nice glow after removing the mask, as someone with very dry skin, I felt it was slightly lacking in hydration.
TipDon't forget to apply the leftover essence from the packet to your neck and eyelids!
