Pro tip: If you're not used to bold lip colors, try applying a nude lip base first, then use the built-in brush to lightly blend the product just on the inner part of your lips for a more natural, less intense look.

Since this is marketed as a lip and cheek product, you can use it as a blush too. If you find the color too intense for your cheeks, try mixing it with your foundation. I used a ratio of 1 part foundation : 0.2 parts Soufflé Color Pot : 0.1 parts stick highlighter (I used Glint Milky Moon, but any similar shade would work). This creates a beautiful, natural flush!

If you keep applying lip balm after using this product, you might notice some dead skin cells appearing on your lips. In this case, you'll need to gently exfoliate before touching up your lip color for a smooth finish. (As someone with naturally dry lips, I've just accepted this as an unavoidable fate...)

The texture is similar to Fenty Beauty's Cheeks Out Freestyle Cream Blush - soft and fluffy, but I personally find the Daisy'c Soufflé Color Pot slightly more moisturizing! As someone who mainly uses lip glosses and hydrating tints, it initially seemed quite dry to me. However, after using a lip mask the night before, I was pleasantly surprised. It maintained adequate inner moisture while leaving the surface comfortably matte, so even my naturally dry lips didn't feel parched.

When I first swatched it on my palm, I worried it might be too dark. But applying it with the built-in lip brush reveals a cool-toned plum to ripe cherry juice shade! It's a deep pink that leans towards winter cool tones. While it may not be the absolute best for those with light undertones and muted coloring, it worked surprisingly well for me as an accent lip color.

And can we talk about that adorable heart packaging? There's an extra cover inside the case to hold the mini lip brush, making it so convenient for on-the-go use! It feels more hygienic than pot-type products without covers. I'd especially recommend this to anyone buying their first pot-type lip product, as it comes with its own mini lip brush - perfect for beginners!

The disappointing part was that the brush felt quite rough. There's a coarse side when applying, so I don't use it and apply with my hands instead.

The color is beautiful, and it feels so soft! I love how it slightly fills in wrinkles too. Personally, I find its smooth application to be exactly my style.
