Especially in winter, my skin gets so dry that I layer products at least three times. The Dr. Rosa PDRN Lifting IV product is an incredibly elastic ampoule, as shown in the photo. Despite its rich texture, it's not overly oily and absorbs well. PDRN is all the rage these days, right? This is my first time using a PDRN product, and contrary to what I've heard, there's no fishy smell. Instead, it has a subtle, non-bothersome scent, reminiscent of tea tree. I had high hopes for PDRN, but after only a week of use, I haven't seen dramatic results. However, I feel like my pores have slightly shrunk, and using it alongside retinol seems to have amplified the effects.
ConsI don't think I can use this on my sensitive, atopic areas around the eyes. It stings a bit when applied there. While it was only stinging, I didn't experience any other blemishes.
TipI apply this in layers along with my retinol products.

The container is smaller than expected, but it has this clever pump mechanism at the back. It works like a syringe, pushing out the product with air pressure. This means you don't need to touch the product directly, which is very hygienic. Unlike dropper bottles where it's hard to get the last bits out, this container seems much more practical as you can squeeze out every last drop. The innovative design really impresses me. I appreciate that it's fragrance-free. The product does have its own scent, somewhat medicinal perhaps? It's noticeable when you first apply it, but it's not overpowering and fades quickly. I prefer this natural scent of the ingredients over added artificial fragrances. The hydration is quite good. The texture is like a thick gel, quite viscous actually. It's so thick that when you pump it out, it sometimes retracts back into the container, just like how mucus behaves! When you pat it in, the initial stickiness disappears, leaving your skin with a nice glow.
ConsMy skin is extremely dry, red, and sensitive due to the winter weather. When I apply this product to those sensitive areas, it stings a bit. I suppose this might be due to its active ingredients.
TipIt's best to apply this when your skin isn't in a particularly bad condition.
