  Pros

  I finished one bottle and was using a different ampoule, but I started getting blemishes that I didn't have when using the Anua ampoule, so I'm going back to it! It has a great calming effect~~

  Cons

  The texture is a bit light for applying in the dead of winter. But it's fine since I don't use it alone anyway.

  Tip

  For daily night care, after cleansing, I use Dalba or Dr.G Blue Bottle toner, then Anua ampoule + La Roche-Posay B5 cream. The next morning, my skin feels baby-soft.

  Pros

  1. Soothing power confirmed When your skin is sensitive and feeling hot, applying this gives an instant cooling and calming sensation. It's perfect for those pre-blemish stages or after wearing a mask for a long time! I definitely noticed its effectiveness in reducing redness. 2. A hydrating ampoule with minimal oiliness With its light gel texture, it's not burdensome even for oily skin types. It applies moistly but absolutely doesn't feel sticky! It's really well-suited for oily skin with deep dryness. 3. Quick absorption + Easy layering It absorbs rapidly, leaving no heavy feeling at all. It pairs well with other products and doesn't pill even with multiple applications. (As a hydrating ampoule, it's great to use before cream!) 4. Minimal skin irritation + Gentle ingredients overall Looking at the ingredients, there are hardly any allergens. It's free from fragrances, ethanol, parabens, and PEGs, so it's reassuring that you can use it without stinging even on sensitive days.

  Cons

  1. Weak for immediate acne soothing While it definitely has a skin-calming effect, it's not as strong in quickly reducing already inflamed acne or blemishes. It's better viewed as a product for overall skin condition management rather than "emergency spot care"! 2. Hydration perfect for oily skin, might be insufficient for dry skin While it's moisturizing, its light and fresh type means it's not intensely hydrating. If you have dry skin or during winter, you'll definitely need to finish with a cream or oil. (This is an advantage for oily skin though!) 3. Not dramatically effective for an ampoule It's extremely gentle and mild, but that also means you might not see any "wow!" changes. It's a holy grail item for those with truly sensitive and delicate skin, but if you're looking for quick results, you might find it a bit underwhelming.

  Tip

  On days when you exfoliate with pads or peeling gel 1-2 times a week, the Houttuynia Cordata ampoule penetrates much deeper and its soothing effect is maximized!! This is truly my golden tip... After exfoliation → Since the skin might be sensitive, using it at this time ensures soothing without side effects. And putting it in the refrigerator is absolutely amazing for summer! When you use the chilled ampoule, it feels like you've splashed a cup of cool water on your skin as soon as you apply it...

  It was nice that it was not too runny and didn't just flow away. The calming effect was good.

  Cons

  It would be nice if the finish was a bit lighter. It would also be good to include Centella.
