It works great as a night care product when layered over a hydrating essence, creating a protective coating.

Like most Lush products, even though it has a dense formula, I was disappointed that the moisturizing effect doesn't last long unless you apply a sufficient amount.

The pleasant, non-Lush-like scent and rich absorbing texture provide excellent hydration. Since I don't use perfume, the Handy Gurugu's fragrance might have seemed more intense, but it's not the typical strong Lush scent. Instead, it has a sophisticated aroma that makes for a luxurious hand cream.
