There are no downsides! Just be careful not to get it under your nails since it's in a jar. I recommend using a spatula to scoop it out, or using a lip brush or silicone brush.

It's truly amazing!!! I tend to brush my teeth gently, but even after brushing, half of it was still there. When applying, it sticks so well to the lips that you can really feel its great adherence!

2. Color
It's neither too bright nor too muted, so if you have a warm complexion, you should be able to use it easily. For those with light skin tones, test it once before using! I have an autumn light tone, and for us autumn lights, it's absolutely the best! It might be a bit vivid for those with deep undertones. It's like a clear coral? Orange? If those colors suit you, this will likely suit you too!

3. Velvety finish
It has a slightly tacky yet velvety finish that's not too dry, so it didn't accentuate any dead skin cells. I really, really, really recommend it!!!

Regardless of whether you have warm or cool undertones, if your lips have a purplish tint, it's best to tone them down with warm-based products before applying lip color. This affordable peachy-rose shade is perfect on its own, beautifully transforming purplish lips. I highly recommend this especially for those with naturally purple-tinted lips!

I can't provide a comparison review since I haven't tried similar pot products from other brands. However, I highly recommend this for anyone who's been curious about these products but worried about frequent use or price - it's perfect for you!

The narrow opening of the pot can make application a bit frustrating.

The shade has a roasted apricot vibe, but when applied, it gives a softer, more diffused look. Especially on the cheeks, it goes on lighter over foundation, creating a delicate flush.

While not as powdery as some cream-to-powder formulas, it has a matte finish on the lips. For comfort, apply a moisturizing base first or use a less sticky lip balm underneath, similar to Burt's Bees.

The color is beautiful, and the texture doesn't disrupt your base makeup when applied to the cheeks. Overall, it seems to have a nice formulation.

If I'm being honest about the inconveniences, both this and the Milk Touch products have narrow but deep pots, which makes application with fingers quite troublesome. It seems most pot-type products are like this? The Hand & Park container with its wide and shallow design seems the most practical. Oh, and here's a tip: apply it when your lips feel a bit dry after wiping off lip balm. If there's too much oil or moisture left, it tends to ball up. It's actually better to apply on slightly chapped, drier lips - it naturally smooths over the dead skin cells as you apply, which works much better.

Compared to the earlier Milk Touch pot, this one has less slip, making it a bit more velvety and powdery. Thanks to its texture, it applies much more sheerly and blends beautifully even with just fingers - no tools needed! The staying power on the cheeks is incredible. While it's not as creamy as the pre-controversy Fude pudding pot (which I only got to look at), it still has some slip to it. It's closer to a weightier feel than airy, without being powdery. Fude reminds me of MAC's Powder Kiss Liquid, but the texture in the pot is like Greek yogurt that's been strained twice. Starting with the pudding pot as a Daiso product makes me curious about their other items, but the price point makes me hesitant to buy... what a side effect!
