It works well for cool-toned fair skin and has a sheer base, so I've been using it successfully. If you apply a thin vertical line at the inner corners of your eyes, it creates a beautiful 'headlight' effect in photos.

While the highlighter itself adheres well to the skin, you might notice the shimmer particles feeling slightly gritty.

For a drugstore product, this highlighter is surprisingly close to a cream formula. Compared to other affordable options, it has less powder fallout and gives a dewy glow that looks hydrated on the skin. I have visible pores on my nose and usually use matte foundation, but unlike other products that can settle into pores or look dry, this one doesn't do that at all. The previous version seemed to give more of a glass skin effect, but the new packaging is so beautiful it actually improves my mood when I use it!

The color payoff is more intense than expected, so you need to be careful with the amount you use. If you're not careful, it might look a bit excessive.

I was diagnosed with a deep undertone light complexion and immediately bought this after it was recommended. It's absolutely gorgeous. Above all, the case is incredibly sturdy. The higher price seems justified by the investment in the packaging.
