I found the cleansing effectiveness and texture to be gentle without causing significant irritation. It's also fragrance-free. I'd recommend this for all skin types. There are small leaf-like particles of houttuynia cordata powder in the product. While it didn't irritate my skin, it's worth noting before you make a purchase. Purchased with my own money! My skin type is dry, sensitive, and prone to atopic dermatitis! This is an honest review after using the product for over a week! ✔️ Texture: It's a gel-type formula that's transparent and spreads smoothly! Not thick at all~ ✔️ Application: No major discomfort. However, there are small houttuynia cordata leaves(?) that stick to your face. They wash off easily with water though~ ✔️ Cleansing effectiveness: Pretty good. But when I applied it like a regular cleansing oil without wetting my face first, it felt a bit dry! Realizing that wasn't right, I used it like a cleansing foam on damp skin, and it lathered up nicely. It removed oil-based cosmetics well. Even foundation dissolved smoothly without clumping! ✔️ Volume: It's a massive amount! You'll wonder when you'll ever finish it! Definitely a big plus! ✔️ Repurchase intention: To be honest... it's a bit of an ambiguous product for me. Not incredibly great, but not bad either! However, for my first experience with a gel cleanser, it was quite decent~ There weren't any particular downsides! I'm glad it didn't cause any blemishes~ It might be challenging to completely remove heavy makeup with this product alone. For a thorough cleanse, I recommend following up with a cleansing foam after using this gel cleanser!
