  Hydration: Compared to other essences, this one offers superior moisture. Gentleness: It's quite mild. I didn't experience any tingling when I first applied it. Application: It spreads easily and feels like it's absorbing rather than evaporating. Texture: The consistency is slightly sticky, like honey. However, it doesn't feel heavy when applied. When I use it before bed, my skin feels wonderfully soft the next morning.

  Cons

  The dropper should dispense enough product with one squeeze, but it doesn't work well. You need to pump it several times to get enough for your face. This is probably due to the honey-like sticky texture.

  Tip

  Since it contains retinol, it's best to apply this in the evening.

  Let's be honest, we often hesitate to use products containing retinol due to concerns about irritation. However, this one felt surprisingly gentle, perhaps due to the combination with bakuchiol! I experienced no tingling or redness, and it worked well for my super sensitive skin without causing any blemishes. The texture isn't runny, but rather has a rich, slightly sticky consistency. With yam extract as an ingredient, you can really feel that firmness when applied. It adheres to the skin nicely, creating a comfortable moisturizing barrier when used at night. In the morning, you'll notice your once-dry skin has become incredibly soft and smooth! I was particularly concerned about the roughness and sagging around my pores recently, but after consistent use, I was amazed to see those areas becoming noticeably smoother! I highly recommend giving this a try, especially for those dealing with loss of elasticity.

  Given its rich texture, there is a slight stickiness to it. This makes it a bit heavy for use in the morning before makeup, so I mainly apply it at night before bed or as a final step in my skincare routine on makeup-free days. During summer, it's best to adjust the amount you use. However, considering it's a functional serum, this level of richness is quite acceptable. If you have dry skin texture or pore concerns like me, it's definitely worth trying out.
