While it doesn't magically pop out a dozen stubborn blackheads every wash as advertised, I've been using it for a week now and consistently see 1-5 blackheads come out daily, which I'm pretty satisfied with! Among the cleansing oils and balms I've tried over the years, this seems to be the most effective for blackhead removal (though I still have some strawberry nose issues...). Since using chemical exfoliants and extracting frequently can be too harsh, this is currently the best daily option in my opinion. Recommended for those with super sensitive skin! - Whitehead removal: It's amazing at removing whiteheads on my chin!! While I've dealt with blackheads before, this is the first time I've actually seen whiteheads come out. - Contains AHA: Perhaps due to the exfoliating ingredients, it seems to be extra helpful with sebum control! - Cleansing effectiveness: It even removes Etude House mascara well!! No need for a separate lip and eye makeup remover. - Emulsification: It emulsifies lightly and effectively, so there's minimal residue left on the skin, leaving it feeling fresh. Also, usually my vision gets really cloudy when emulsifying, but with this product, it's much clearer - highly recommend! - It's a small thing, but the color is pretty... It stands out nicely in my bathroom cabinet.
Cons- The product itself has no disappointing aspects!! However, the pump is quite stiff, causing unexpected spurts in random directions when pressed. You need to be careful and gentle when pumping it out. - And the price... Honestly, it's expensive, so I quickly grabbed it when it was on sale.
Tip- From my experience, to get those blackhead bits out, you need to massage for over 5 minutes!! I found that the longer I massaged, the more came out. Also, don't be stingy - use at least four pumps each time.
