It contains granules that don't dissolve easily, requiring vigorous rubbing between both palms to melt. Once the granules dissolve, it becomes slightly oily. When used as a final step after your basic skincare routine, it definitely provides long-lasting hydration. It feels more cohesive than an oil.
ConsI had high hopes for this as it seemed like Nutceline's signature product, but I was shocked by how gritty it felt. It's almost as abrasive as a body scrub. Surprisingly, when I looked up online reviews, no one mentioned the granules being irritating or slow to dissolve. I don't have sensitive skin at all - mine's quite thick and resilient - but I simply can't apply this to my face. I only use it on my feet. It's even too rough for my lips. To melt the granules, you have to scoop some out and vigorously rub it between both hands. I considered returning it but couldn't be bothered. Still, once you manage to dissolve all the granules, it does provide intense hydration.
TipI was so taken aback by how gritty it was, I thought I might have received a defective product. When I checked online reviews, everyone seemed to love it, making me feel like the world was playing a trick on me! It might be better suited for use on feet or around nails.
