In my experience, most Daiso skincare products tend to be quite drying, but this one felt relatively more hydrating. It leaves a matte, powdery finish, which might work well for those who don't typically struggle with dryness. However, for those with very dry or dehydrated skin, I'd recommend a product with more oil content. Daiso products seem more suitable for teenagers, while those in their 30s and above might need more hydration and nourishment. Personally, I wouldn't recommend Daiso skincare for older age groups. The Daiso Jeongmoon Aloe Cure Alpha product, however, is suitable for all skin types except dry skin, and I'd particularly recommend it for teenagers.

Each pouch contains 4 large pads, which are perfect for use as a toner mask before applying makeup. These pads are wonderfully hydrating, with long-lasting moisture. I left one on for 15 minutes while drying my hair and getting ready, and it was still damp when I removed it. The pads retain moisture well, making them more suitable as a mask than an exfoliating toner. They also helped calm redness around my butterfly zone. After use, my skin felt comfortable and hydrated without any stickiness, blemishes, or irritation. They didn't cause any pilling or clumping when I applied makeup afterwards. While they might not be ideal for daily use, they'd be perfect to pack for a short trip of a day or two.

I recommend using it primarily as a mask pack rather than an exfoliating toner.

Being from the aloe line, it has a slightly sticky feel. Usually, these toner pads are used for masking and light cleansing, but due to the pad's texture, it doesn't give a clean wiping sensation. Especially, I'm not sure about its effectiveness in evening out skin texture.

Huge pad size. The gauze pad adheres well to the skin. It has a nice cooling effect. The essence is generous, leaving skin hydrated. It's a very gentle formula with no irritation!

It's inconvenient that there's no larger size available. Buying the 4-pack makes it difficult to take out one sheet at a time.

The liquid is quite viscous, making it annoying to separate the pads when first opening. The gauze pads might be hit or miss for some. I wish the pads were like cotton ones that could be cut to desired sizes for different areas. While it's good for portability, I'm honestly not sure about its value for money.

As expected from a brand known for aloe, I was satisfied with the overall experience of this product. The texture has a slight stickiness characteristic of aloe, and I was pleased with its effectiveness on deep dryness. The aloe-specific viscosity might be a matter of personal preference. The scent is similar to other aloe products. It's convenient to carry as a travel or portable size. Those who liked the Cure Aloe line will likely be satisfied with this.

With 4 sheets per pack, it's not particularly convenient to take out one at a time. While the ziplock packaging allows for multiple uses, it might have been more user-friendly if they came in packs of 2 for single-use convenience. Additionally, the formula isn't a water-type but has a sticky aloe vera-like consistency, which might not appeal to everyone.

The thin pads have two sides - gauze and a soft side - making them versatile for both toning and spot treatments. They're gentle enough for daily toning without causing irritation. As expected from an aloe vera specialist brand, the ingredients are high-quality. Being a Daiso product, these portable toner pads are budget-friendly and come with 4 sheets, offering great value for money. The pads are generously sized, so you only need to swipe a few times for effective toning.
