Pros
The small size that was not available in other patches was good. I wanted to apply a small patch to the small acne, but it was disappointing to attach a regular size because it was very noticeable when applying makeup. However, the Hwahae patch was able to complement that point! The number of patches is plenty, the soothing effect is good, and it doesn't show, which is great! Pros
The skin is a complex seasonal type. I was concerned about covering the occasional acne that appears depending on the season or condition, but I'm grateful that I won the Hwahae Trial Reviewers and got to try it out and write this review. First of all, it was more thin than the spot patches sold at the pharmacy, so it was useful to use when going out, and the two sizes were good so I could attach it discreetly. I tried attaching it both before and after the acne came to a head, and the calming effect was better when I attached it early on when the acne was still small, but it was relatively less effective on acne that had firmly rooted itself under the skin. I also liked that the packaging was a zipper bag, so it was hygienic and convenient to carry around outside.
Cons
Large, hard acne lesions typically have a wider surface area, but I wish there were slightly larger-sized patches available.
Tip
Personally, I found that using a highly moisturizing face mask to soothe my entire face, followed by spot patches, was more effective.

I was able to see the effects as I've had a lot of acne recently! Before popping, if you apply it, you can really see the soothing effects. At first, I didn't know whether to apply it before or after popping, but applying it even after popping doesn't cause any issues, though applying it 'before' popping is more effective. Although my skin type does not tend to have many blemishes, I applied the patch to a slight redness that was starting to appear. The patch is thin and barely noticeable, so it was applied naturally. As long as I didn't intentionally remove it while washing my face or waking up, it stayed well-attached! The patch packaging claims it has a calming effect before drying, and I could really see the redness subsiding. By the second day, the redness had completely disappeared, and there was no longer any pain when touched.
