  As someone with extremely dry lips, I've always struggled with dead skin cells forming even in summer, making it nearly impossible to wear lipsticks or tints. I had been using tinted lip balms as a compromise, but even those only felt good upon application. After a while, they would stain my lips, cause flaking, and quickly worsen my lip condition. However, the HERA Sensual Nude Balm was a game-changer. The moment I applied it, I thought, "This is my holy grail lip balm." When I first opened the packaging, I was struck by the beautiful case and the adorably compact balm itself. I initially thought, "I'll probably just use this for a season because it's so pretty." But once I applied it, I realized it was the most hydrating lip balm I've ever used. It wasn't just a surface-level moisture - I could feel it deeply nourishing my lips. The texture is delightfully plump without being sticky at all, and it adheres well to the lips. The color is natural and perfect for everyday wear without being overwhelming.

  In the height of summer, the product might soften a bit, so you may need to be careful when using it.

  Tip

  I especially recommend this to those who have had trouble using colored lip products due to dry lips. If you have lip concerns like mine, I'm confident you'll be satisfied with this product.

  Pros

  I bought this product on Girls' Generation Sooyoung's recommendation, and it's truly an excellent color lip balm for those with very chapped lips. I've tried color lip balms from Dior, Chanel, and Bobbi Brown, but Hera seems to be the most hydrating of them all.

  Cons

  Everything about it is great, except the color just didn't suit me. While other reviews mention how pretty it looks, when I apply it, it shows up as a rather tacky, intense pink shade. For a color lip balm, the pigmentation is quite strong.

  It's available at Olive Young, so I recommend testing it out before purchasing.
