I love how these eyeshadows apply lightly, as overly pigmented ones can feel heavy on me. I used the previous Autrefois palette so much I hit pan, but I feel this new version has even better color payoff! I'd recommend this to anyone who loves a soft, dreamy look.
ConsPersonally, I prefer the previous compact version much more.

The pigmentation is exactly as I imagined. It's the perfect deep undertone shade I was looking for.
ConsWhile not every shade in every palette goes to waste, I've found that the colors I don't use really do end up sitting untouched.

The color payoff is amazing, and overall, there's not a single shade I'd want to toss. I'm absolutely in love with it. What I really adored was the 7th color - it's a glitter with a cream-like texture. It adheres beautifully to the eyelids without any fallout, making it super easy to apply. The color is just gorgeous too. It's not just coral shades; there are pink tones as well, giving it a nice balance. A huge plus is the versatility - you can create various looks depending on your mood. The contour shade really impressed me! It has just the right amount of grayish undertone, making it perfect for creating natural-looking shadows. Though personally, I wouldn't use it as a crease color. I love that there's an eyeliner shade included. Many light-tone palettes these days lack a deep eyeliner color, but this one has a richly pigmented shade that really elevates the palette's quality. For us light-skinned folks who can't pull off intense eyeliner, using eyeshadow as liner is perfect. The 4th color is a highlighter, and its quality is truly outstanding. If I had to describe it, it's like a soft, putty-like texture in a champagne gold that gives a natural glow. It looks beautiful on the aegyo-sal, inner corners, and even on the bridge of the nose. You can use the 6th color as a blush to create a cohesive, mood-matching makeup look! With contour, highlighter, and blush all in one, you could consider this an all-in-one palette! It's incredibly versatile and the quality is top-notch.
ConsWhile I mentioned that the 6th color works well as a blush, I'm disappointed that they've reduced its size in this new version. The original Oat Latte had a larger pan for the blush color, which tends to be used more frequently than other shades. It's really unfortunate they've made it smaller in the Honey Oat Latte version. The biggest letdown is the lack of a proper crease color. You can use the eyeliner shade with a light hand for the crease, but it doesn't quite match the quality you'd get from a dedicated crease color. I'm not sure if they focused too much on the 'light' aspect and compromised on pigmentation, but the other shades don't quite work as crease colors in my opinion. The brow color pan is unnecessarily large. I think they made a poor choice with pan placement. If they had swapped the positions of the 9th color and the blush color, it would have been much better.
TipThe first color in the palette has a very high brightness. It's so light it could almost work as a matte highlighter. If you use this as a base before applying other colors, it significantly reduces their intensity, creating a very light, soft look. You can use this to your advantage - if you feel your makeup has become too intense or dark, just layer this shade over it to instantly lighten the look. Alternatively, you could start with this as your base for a naturally light appearance from the get-go. In my experience, applying these shadows with your fingers gives better color payoff than using brushes. While you'll need brushes for more detailed work, try using your fingertips when laying down the base color. It works wonders!
