The mask adheres quite firmly, so it took a while to rinse off with water alone. I'd suggest gently scraping it off with a spatula before cleansing with water for easier removal. Also, for those with oily skin, following up with a BHA mask could be beneficial for a more comprehensive skincare routine.

There weren't any significant downsides. If I had to pick something, I'd say the quantity seems a bit small, so it might run out quickly.

The texture is so smooth that it spreads evenly without any resistance. Being a jelly formula, it doesn't drip when applied. I love that it's not a scrub but pure jelly, allowing for a mild application without any irritation or tingling. After rinsing with water, my skin felt noticeably softer and brighter. The slight moisturizing effect left behind prevented any tightness, which was fantastic.

Setting aside the fact that the low AHA content means it doesn't effectively remove dead skin cells, this mask is incredibly difficult to wash off. No matter how much water you use, it's hard to rinse cleanly. You need to gently scrub it off with a face brush. While I appreciate the effort put into the texture (it has little grapefruit-like beads), the scent is just artificial grapefruit soda. It doesn't have any notable effects, it's hard to wash off, and I barely managed to finish the whole jar.

This mask pack feels like a soothing gel, similar to lavender. It's as if they've blended real grapefruit to make it, which made using it quite fun. Skinfood really commits to their concept!

Personally, I didn't see much effect from this product. I've used it about four or five times, but each time the experience was ambiguous - it wasn't particularly hydrating, didn't seem to exfoliate dead skin cells effectively, and didn't have a notable soothing effect. I couldn't really tell if it improved my skin texture either...
Maybe I'm just too used to the Strawberry Sugar mask. In terms of user experience, the Strawberry Sugar mask is far superior.

After applying it to my face and showering, my skin stayed smooth for 3 whole days...
I was genuinely surprised by how incredibly soft my face felt. I kept wondering, 'What's going on? What did I do?' Then I remembered I used the Grapefruit product.

Another update: I've just become someone with permanently soft skin now. I can't recommend this enough, even when I'm not using it... 850% would repurchase!

I bought and used this along with the Peanut Food Mask, and I love it! I apply the peanut mask on my T-zone where I want more nourishment, and the strawberry mask on my neck and cheeks. It's great that I can use them according to my skin type in different areas.
