A 2-week review for ultra-sensitive, dry, and atopy-prone skin Highly recommended for those seeking plump, bouncy skin, whether you have dry or normal skin types! This product fills your skin without irritation, leaving it firm and elastic. When I was diligently applying this product day and night, I didn't notice much beyond its hydrating effects. However, after stopping use for just 3 days and switching to a different product, my skin's oil and moisture balance immediately collapsed, resulting in flaking, tingling, and overall chaos. That's how good the Anua PDRN Cream is! After trying this cream, I'm now eyeing the serum from the same line. Usually, when the weather gets warmer, my skin becomes super sensitive, or I end up applying products too thickly to protect it, leading to small blemishes. During the period I used this, I experienced neither issue. I believe it's because this product also improves skin texture. I'm very satisfied! It instantly makes your skin firm and bouncy upon application, making it great for makeup application too. (Check out the photos for that firm, bouncy glow!) The packaging is sturdy and clean, with a thin nozzle that's perfect for dotting small amounts or squeezing out longer lines. It would make a great gift for parents too! While I have fair skin with few blemishes, I didn't notice any brightening effects during my use of this product. Apply a layer all over your face, then add a thin extra layer on areas prone to dryness or wrinkles, like around the eyes and mouth! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMay 26, 2025
This review is based on my experience using the product from May 14th to 27th after being selected as a Hwahae Tester. Skin Type: My skin type is combination dehydrated - dry in the U-zone and oily in the T-zone. I have super sensitive skin prone to allergic reactions if I use the wrong cosmetics. Scent: It's practically unscented, and I don't think any fragrances were added. I actually preferred this! Application and Absorption: It glides on smoothly and absorbs well! It has a light texture without feeling rich. Despite being a PDRN cream, it doesn't cause pilling when applied before makeup. I was pleasantly surprised! User Experience: The narrow tip of the cream dispenser allows for hygienic and precise application to specific areas. Wrinkles/Brightening: The testing period was too short to determine its effectiveness on wrinkles. Hydration: Although it's labeled as a moisturizer, it might be a bit light to use on its own. I've been obsessed with PDRN lately, so I've been using a PDRN serum before applying this cream. If I notice any improvements in wrinkle reduction, I'll update my review. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinMay 24, 2025
As a member of The Hwahae Testers, I'm sharing my review after using this product for about 7 days. First off, my current skin type is oily. Scent: The fragrance was nearly undetectable. This product doesn't have a distinct scent, making it suitable for those with fragrance sensitivities. Texture and application: The cream has a slightly heavier consistency rather than a light feel. It has a subtle thickness that prevents it from running, but it still spreads easily and absorbs well on the skin. Absorption and moisture balance: It doesn't absorb instantly, so I'd say the absorption rate is average. The moisture-to-oil ratio felt like 70:30, with a noticeable amount of oil. Personally, I found it a bit rich, so those with oily skin might find it slightly heavy for summer use. Finish: Rather than a fresh finish, it leaves a film-like layer on the skin. This might disappoint those who prefer a lighter, more breathable feel. Blemishes and brightening: Although there were no harmful ingredients, I noticed a tendency for small bumps to appear the day after using this cream. As a result, I avoided using it consecutively. Additionally, perhaps due to limited use, I didn't observe any noticeable brightening effects on my complexion. Overall, this cream might work better for those with combination dehydrated skin or during colder months when skin needs extra hydration. If you have super sensitive skin or are prone to blemishes, you may want to patch test first or consider alternatives. While it didn't cause any major irritation, the slight heaviness and potential for minor skin reactions might not suit everyone, especially those with oily or acne-prone skin. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMay 24, 2025
1. Exceptional hydration • Hyaluronic acid and PDRN deeply moisturize the skin, effectively improving deep dryness. 2. Lightweight texture • Absorbs quickly without feeling heavy or sticky, making it suitable for oily skin and summer use. 3. Fragrance-free and gentle • Free from artificial fragrances and colorants, making it safe for super sensitive skin. 4. Skin-soothing properties • PDRN aids in repairing damaged skin, helping to calm irritated skin. 5. Makeup-friendly • Absorbs well, minimizing pilling when applied before base makeup. 1. Slightly lacking in long-lasting hydration • May not provide all-day moisture for combination dehydrated skin when used alone. Consider pairing with a hydrating serum or oil for better results. 2. Limited brightening and firming effects • Primarily focused on hydration, with minimal additional benefits for brightening or wrinkle improvement. 3. Individual reactions may vary • Some users might experience a slight tingling sensation when first using products containing PDRN (usually temporary). 4. Less impactful compared to serums • May feel less dramatic in immediate effects and texture compared to the Capsule 100 serum from the same line. Apply as the final step in your skincare routine. • Layer after serums or ampoules to create a moisture barrier for longer-lasting hydration. Gently pat to absorb • Instead of rubbing, press lightly with warm palms to minimize irritation and improve absorption. For an overnight mask effect: • Before bed, apply a thicker layer! • After applying a thin layer, wait 5 minutes and add another layer for lasting moisture until morning. When your skin needs extra care: • Maximize PDRN's soothing effect • For irritated skin, store in the refrigerator and apply cold to double the calming effect. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinSensitive SkinMay 9, 2025
The biggest advantage of this product is its non-sticky texture. I've been a moisturizer nomad because I absolutely hate that sticky feeling or the sensation of residual oil on my skin. But this product absorbs so quickly without any oiliness that I wonder if it's really a moisturizer! Despite this, it doesn't lack hydration and moisturizes the skin well. The absorbs well is also light and smooth, which I'm really satisfied with! Moreover, the narrow opening of the cream dispenser makes it easy to control the amount, and it's particularly useful for applying directly to the face rather than using hands. I was extremely pleased with the overall user experience. I think I'll be settling on this moisturizer for the foreseeable future. Given that it contains the trendy PDRN ingredient, this product is said to have brightening effects. However, I haven't seen any significant brightening results yet. While continued use might bring about changes, it might be a bit disappointing if you're buying it expecting short-term brightening effects or immediate results from the PDRN ingredient. With its oil-free, moisturizing yet subtly matte finish, this could be great as a base for makeup! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinMay 9, 2025
This review is from a Hwahae Tester who's been using the product for over a week! I have combination dehydrated skin with deep dryness. My usual skincare routine is toner -> essence -> cream. I'm a woman in my 30s who uses moisturizing creams in winter and hydrating ones in summer! I received the Anua cream from The Hwahae Testers just when I ran out of my previous cream and needed a hydrating one. Perfect timing! I usually use Torriden's hydrating cream in summer, but the weather's still a bit dry and cool, so this came at just the right moment! That's why I've included a photo comparing the texture with my summer Torriden cream, which is very hydrating. Though both are hydrating creams, Anua's texture seemed more moisturizing. But when I used it, it absorbed well and applied smoothly. It's neither too heavy nor too light - perfect for spring and fall transitional weather! Even without applying essence, just toner and then this cream, I didn't feel any deep dryness. And there was no greasiness after application, which I loved. I'm using it with great satisfaction. I didn't even notice the scent while applying, so no issues there! The tube design with its pointed tip makes it easy to control the amount and seems hygienic too. I'm not sure about the whitening and anti-wrinkle effects, but given how well it absorbs and prevents deep dryness even without essence, I suspect it might be effective for wrinkles. Perfect for seasonal transitions! It's great to use right now. (This might sound like an ad, but I'm recommending it because I'm satisfied!) The price range of 20-30,000 won is reasonable, and I'd consider purchasing it in the future! - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopy SkinSensitive SkinMay 8, 2025
Quick summary: A decent moisturizer for dry/combination skin types 1. PDRN Absorption With its triple PDRN structure, they claim to have improved absorption, and it definitely seems to penetrate the skin faster and better than other moisturizers! Often after applying serum, creams don't absorb well and leave a residue, but this one noticeably has less of that issue. It doesn't feel like it dries out quickly, but there's a fresh finish to it. This also means makeup applies beautifully! Since nothing is left sitting on the skin.. 2. Hydration/Moisture They mainly promote keywords like 'hydrated glow', 'deep hydration', and 'inner moisture', and it truly delivers on that hydrating feel. Even with my extremely dry skin that feels tight just 3 minutes after showering, this was perfect! There's a reason 'Hyaluronic Acid 100' is in the name.. My skin is so dry that usually moisturizers seem to evaporate quickly, leaving me feeling dry again, but the Anua moisturizer gives a subtle, long-lasting hydration that I really love! 3. Cooling Effect While it's not mind-blowingly cooling, it does have a good cooling effect for a moisturizer! When you apply it, the finish is fresh, and the cooling sensation lasts longer than expected, so it might be great for summer use too. 3. Packaging First off, the packaging is beautiful, and the container is hygienic, which I loved the most. I'm not a fan of jar-type moisturizers as they can feel unsanitary over time, and tube types can get messy around the opening. This one has a narrow, transparent opening that looks pretty and stays clean! Also, the narrow opening is a huge plus as it allows you to squeeze out just the right amount. Actually, most squeeze-type products are hard to control, but this one lets you use just the perfect amount every time. 1. Whitening? Wrinkle Improvement? The back of the product claims to have whitening and anti-wrinkle functions, but I didn't really see any effects in those areas. 2. Not Recommended for Oily Skin For a moisturizer, it feels about 75% hydration and 25% oil. It feels like a typical moisturizer with standard absorption, but unlike other brands' moisturizers, it seems to develop a slightly oily feel over time. So, those with oily skin might find it perfect for fall and winter, but I wouldn't recommend it for summer. - Hwahae UserDry SkinMar 24, 2025
1. Packaging: The tube design with a narrow nozzle makes it easy to use. At first, I thought the twist-cap was odd, but I realized it's better than flip-tops, which often get left open. This ensures I always close it properly for storage. 2. Texture: Given it's in a tube, the consistency isn't thick or heavy. It's similar to an eye cream in texture. 3. Application: Usually, tube creams don't provide enough moisture for dry skin, as they're less rich than jar creams. I expected it to be more like an essence, but when applied, it's surprisingly hydrating. As someone with dry skin, I typically layer this type of emulsion or cream 2-3 times, but with this one, I didn't need to - the hydration lasted quite well. 4. Scent & Color: I prefer unscented products. This one is nearly fragrance-free, with just a hint of a unique scent that isn't bothersome. It's a light sky blue color, but doesn't seem to contain added colorants. 5. Overall: I tried it without high expectations, but as someone with dry skin, I was pleasantly surprised by the hydration. It claims to have brightening effects, so I applied extra on my blemishes, but didn't notice significant results. I'd recommend this for those with dry or combination dehydrated skin. The ingredient list is longer than I expected. It would be nice if they could simplify it. The brightening effect seems a bit weak (though I wasn't expecting dramatic whitening). - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinMar 21, 2025
The scent isn't overpowering, and it absorbs beautifully with a smooth application. It leaves your skin feeling hydrated without excessive oiliness! As someone with combination to dry skin, I applied it comfortably without any sensation of dryness. The unique spouted tube design allows for cleaner application compared to other cream tubes! While it claims to have brightening properties, that might take some time to notice. However, I wouldn't set your expectations too high for that aspect. Although I didn't experience any major blemishes, I did notice 2-3 small bumps. They didn't appear immediately, but showed up after about 2 days of use, so I'll need to observe a bit longer to be certain. Since I've only been using it for 2 weeks, I haven't seen significant improvements in brightening or wrinkle reduction! I'd suggest expecting it to be just a decent, basic moisturizer rather than anything extraordinary. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMar 3, 2025
The mint-colored tube makes it easy to control the amount. As someone with dry skin, I love how moisturizing it is and that it doesn't contain any pore-clogging ingredients, so I can apply it without worrying about blemishes. The scent is nearly undetectable, but if you sniff closely, there's a faint hint of wood glue? You can't notice it during regular use. I used to do a 5-step skincare routine, but now I finish with just 4 steps and still don't feel any tightness or dryness. It definitely provides a hydrating sensation. My makeup applies well, and it delays the onset of darkening. I highly recommend it - the hyaluronic acid is essential for dry skin. The silky finish is great even when you apply a lot, and it doesn't pill. I use it religiously morning and night. I'm not sure about its effectiveness for brightening and wrinkle improvement. For those concerns, taking vitamins regularly, getting good sleep, and frequently applying eye cream seem to work better. Consistency is key. Hydrated skin does tend to make your complexion look brighter, though. I'm using it with my facial lifting device - the generous amount is perfect for that. I plan to repurchase.
