I have combination dehydrated skin with large pores in the T-zone and butterfly zone, and I'm quite sensitive. Tea tree usually works well for me, and this being from Essenherb made me feel even more at ease. It absorbs well even on stubborn, inflamed blemishes. When I apply it as a spot treatment with a cotton swab, it calms the skin noticeably within 2-3 days. I've been using it generously as a night cream, and it's kept my skin deeply hydrated even in the depths of winter. The only downside is that it's so rich you don't need any other skincare products - just this alone can make your skin feel overly oily. That's why I'm only using it at night now. Other than that, I can't really think of any other cons. It's not a bad substitute for a regenerating cream. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinApr 3, 2025
The way it absorbs and its absorption power are both quite decent. It definitely seems to have soothing ingredients. The tea tree scent is refreshing, which is a nice touch. Honestly, the price is quite steep, making it a bit of a burden. Since my skin doesn't really need the calming effects, I probably won't repurchase it. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinApr 2, 2025
When I suddenly got small bumps on my forehead, I used this for a few days and it had a soothing effect on my blemishes. It has a bouncy gel texture that absorbs fairly quickly. While it's not an extremely lightweight formula, the rounded opening makes it easy to apply. This product is great for managing blemishes and hydrating simultaneously. I'd especially recommend it to those who respond well to tea tree ingredients. There aren't any major drawbacks. If I had to nitpick, I'd say the ingredients aren't exceptionally gentle. It's also a bit tricky to use this alone for hydration. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinApr 2, 2025
The tube packaging allows for clean and long-lasting use. The subtle tea tree scent is absolutely delightful. I'm thoroughly satisfied with how it absorbs, its hydration, and its soothing effects. There's nothing to dislike. From the packaging to the ingredients, everything about this product is satisfactory. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAtopy SkinSensitive SkinApr 1, 2025
It's not too rich and applies smoothly, making it suitable for oily and combination skin types without feeling heavy. The cream absorbs quickly into the skin without any stickiness, making it perfect for daily use. The distinctive herbal scent of tea tree might be off-putting for some. It's a bit disappointing for me as tea tree doesn't seem to agree with my skin very well. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinApr 1, 2025
It absorbs well and has great application, but I'm not sure about its soothing effects. It doesn't calm my skin and can sting on sensitive skin. I only use it when my skin is feeling comfortable. - Hwahae UserDry SkinApr 1, 2025
It absorbs well and glides on smoothly. The hydration is excellent too. There wasn't really anything to complain about. If I had to nitpick, I wish it came in a larger size. - Hwahae UserDry SkinApr 1, 2025
It absorbs well and seems to be a gentle product, which I really like. So far, I've used it without finding any drawbacks. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinMar 31, 2025
It spreads smoothly on the skin and absorbs well. It provides great hydration without feeling sticky. I think it also helped improve my skin barrier. The tea tree ingredient was great for soothing my skin. There's nothing particularly bad, but I wish the product came in a larger size. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinMar 26, 2025
I had previously used Essenherb's body products and was really curious about their skincare line. Since I occasionally get blemishes, I needed a cream for those times, so I immediately purchased this. The tube packaging makes it easy to control the amount, and with 71.2% tea tree solution, it's really effective. The cica ingredients also help with barrier care, making it perfect for me. The narrow opening allows for easy dispensing, and the gel-cream texture absorbs quickly into the skin. I'd recommend this to anyone looking to prevent blemishes or those wanting a gentle yet effective skincare routine for troubled skin. Being a gel-cream, you tend to use more product, so it seems to run out quickly. The regular price is on the expensive side, so it's best to buy it when it's on sale. After applying it all over, apply a thicker layer on blemish-prone areas, like you would with an ointment.
