It's closer to oily than dry, so it gets super greasy in summer. Scent: It has that typical artificial scent of mineral sunscreens, but it's almost fragrance-free! Texture: It has a watery moisturizer texture. True to its serum sunscreen nature, it's more hydrating than oily. Application Experience: I always apply two finger-lengths of product. At first application, it seemed to be as greasy as regular sunscreen, which was a bit disappointing. However, after letting it absorb slowly, I noticed the shine was less than average for mineral sunscreens (though not completely absent). The best part was that it barely felt sticky at all! I kept touching my face several times after application, amazed at how little slip and stickiness there was on the surface. It really felt just like applying a moisturizer. I think this will be super useful in the upcoming summer. Even though I had a few blemishes due to my period, it didn't irritate them at all. One downside: there's some pilling, so I probably can't use it under makeup. Summary: - Hydration >>> Oil - Recommended for oily, combination dehydrated, and combination skin - Some pilling occurs
ConsIt was fine when I had a heavy skincare routine, but now that it's getting warmer and I've switched to lighter skincare, after a few hours the hydration seems to evaporate. When something rubs against my skin surface, it pills like dead skin cells... It's really the only flaw in an otherwise perfect product.
TipFor those with super sensitive skin, it's worth noting that this product didn't cause any burning sensation or tingling. The Hwahae Testers have given it high marks for its gentle formula that works hard to protect your skin without causing irritation. It's great for evening skin tone and achieving that coveted Inner Glow without clogging pores or causing redness. Remember to layer it properly in your daily skincare routine for the best results!

It's been difficult to change skincare products, so I've been using the same sunscreen, toner, and cream that I've always used! However, the sunscreen I was using before became too drying in the spring, and my makeup kept peeling off... So I was looking to change my sunscreen, and I happened to win the Hwahae Testers event, so I got to try it out. 🍊Usage Experience🍊 The usage experience is first of all a really moisturizing lotion? cream-like feeling! It doesn't feel like a sunscreen, but more like applying a moisturizing cream, so it can be applied without drying the skin. Also, there's a slight oiliness, but when I apply foundation, it finishes with a dewy look, which I like! 🍋Design🍋 The design is a tube format, so it's easy to carry around, and the size fits in one hand, so it's convenient to have on the go as well!
ConsIt's a shame, but there was one thing. When I applied sunscreen twice, it came off like makeup when I put it on, so I'd recommend just applying one layer and then putting on the base.
TipIf your skin is dry, you can mix foundation and sunscreen and apply it to achieve a moisturized and well-adhered finish.

It is fragrance-free, but the fragrance is not unpleasant, and it leaves the skin feeling noticeably moisturized after application.
ConsTime passes and it peels off like a shell.. I've tried a lot of sunscreen, but this is the first product that peels off like this. I don't know why it's so popular.. I bought it as a buy-one-get-one-free deal, but I'll have to give the other product to someone else... It's a waste of money.. It was the worst among the products I've tried.
TipEducated individuals should only apply a toner before using this product. Applying a cream as well would make it look greasy.

ConsThere's this slightly off-putting milky scent that ruins the experience every time I apply it. It's not exactly like spoiled milk, but more like that slightly sour smell of white milk left at room temperature for a bit, like back in elementary school when we didn't drink our milk right away. Also, sometimes it comes out with a weird, residue-like texture.

They're truly gentle. This sunscreen has a texture between an emulsion and cream. After using it for a week, I experienced no eye irritation, white cast, or blemishes, which was so comfortable and great! It's completely lucky! It's more moisturizing than expected, so I highly recommend it for those with dry skin. I like Dalb sunscreen, but this one feels less greasy and more refreshing, closer to a children's sunscreen.
ConsIf you apply too much skincare, it might pill slightly. So I skip the cream and apply this sunscreen right after the emulsion, which reduces pilling.
TipSince it doesn't build up uncomfortably even with multiple applications, I keep the base skincare light. I apply a generous amount of sunscreen, then lightly dab cushion foundation only on areas I want to cover. This makes my skin look smooth.

The moment it touches your skin, you feel a cool sensation, and it finishes with a smooth, film-like coating. Looking at the photo on the back of the hand, you can see how thin and hydrating it is - almost like an emulsion. It doesn't feel sticky or greasy, and it lacks that suffocating feeling typical of sunscreens. Instead, it feels like you've applied a lightweight hydrating ampoule, making it suitable for all skin types. However, there's one critical drawback - it pills. Right after application, I thought it would work well with makeup, but as time passes, it all pills up as shown in the third photo. I've noticed some hyaluronic acid-containing ampoules tend to pill, so I wonder if it's due to that ingredient here too. After some consideration, I'm giving it four stars because the feel on the skin is really nice. If you don't wear makeup and don't touch your face often, you'll probably use this without any major issues.
ConsWarning: After it absorbs and some time passes, if you touch your face, it pills off like dead skin cells. This happens regardless of changes in skincare or base makeup, so this aspect needs improvement.

I highly recommend this sunscreen to those who prefer ones without a white cast.
ConsIn my experience, the performance of this sunscreen varies greatly depending on how you apply it. If you hastily spread it and immediately apply cushion foundation, it will definitely pill like dirt. It requires a bit of care - if you pat it in and allow it to fully absorb, it won't pill. Also, if you apply too much, it can look like you're wearing foundation even without it! I don't think it's suitable for use under makeup, but it would work well for a foundation-free look or on the body.

This product has a light texture that absorbs well, so I'm really enjoying using it!
ConsI'm not sure if it's because the sunscreen doesn't mix well with my current cream, but after some time, I noticed it slightly pilling like dead skin cells

While I don't have any specific blemishes, my cheeks tend to flush easily, and if I don't cool them down quickly, I'm prone to developing small pimples. Recently, as the seasons changed, I was feeling particularly dry, so I was fortunate to try the Isntree sunscreen. ✔ Texture & Application After my skincare routine, I apply this sunscreen thoroughly from face to neck before makeup. My previous moisturizing sunscreen left a slightly sticky finish, which I didn't love. However, this product surprised me - it applies as smoothly as a hydrating moisturizer, feeling soft and fresh without any stickiness. It feels like I've applied an extra layer of moisturizer, so I think I could skip my regular moisturizer when using this (though those with very dry skin might need additional hydration). ✔ Sun Protection & Makeup Compatibility With **SPF 50+/PA++++**, the protection is high, so this alone with a light cushion foundation should suffice. In the current weather, it doesn't feel sticky at all. Even with a matte cushion on top, my skin doesn't feel dry and has a slight glow, so I just finish with a light dusting of powder. ✔ Scent & White Cast Being fragrance-free, it's comfortable to use, and unlike some products, there's no bothersome scent when applying around the upper lip area. There's absolutely no white cast, leaving a natural finish. While those looking for a brightening effect might be disappointed, it's perfect for those like me who prefer a sunscreen that feels like a hydrating moisturizer. ✔ Overall Impression I'm really impressed with this sunscreen and will likely repurchase it next winter after I finish this one. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a moisturizing sunscreen!
Cons✔ Points to Note: While it's not heavy under makeup, if you apply it very generously, make sure to let it absorb well. Otherwise, your makeup might pill a bit. Everything else was fine, but I was startled when it slightly pilled around my temples like dead skin. Since then, I've been careful to let it dry thoroughly before applying makeup. Apart from that, I have no complaints.

Texture & Application Light and smooth hydrating serum texture As you can see in the photos, the texture is actually lighter than a typical moisturizer. It's very fluid and applies smoothly. You can feel the hydration immediately upon application, and it absorbs quickly, making it suitable for use even in summer without feeling heavy. Hydration & Moisturizing Power Noticeably moisturizing thanks to the hyaluronic acid! True to its hyaluronic acid content, this product is incredibly hydrating. As someone with extremely dry skin, I often experience deep dryness after applying sunscreen, but with this Isntree product, my skin felt comfortable all day without any tightness! It's especially great for those with dry skin. White Cast & Finish No white cast! Dewy finish The 5th and 6th photos show the product after application. There's absolutely no white cast, and while the finish is dewy, I noticed a slight sheen under direct light. It's not an oily glow, but similar to the effect you get from the Snatural Squalane Essence - you can refer to the photos. It's not excessive, so it actually worked perfectly as a base before makeup. The stickiness is minimal.
ConsDrawbacks I Noticed 1. May cause irritation for sensitive skin While my skin isn't particularly resilient to begin with, it tends to be more sensitive in spring. Recently, when my skin was feeling a bit sensitive, I experienced some itching and burning sensation upon application. Despite its reputation for being gentle, if you have very sensitive skin like mine, it might be better to stick with a mineral-based moisturizer even when your skin is dry, especially if your skin isn't in its best condition. 2. Pilling issue After some time, it feels like a thin film forms on the skin and there's some pilling. I found that ensuring thorough absorption during application and following up with cushion foundation actually helped mitigate this issue.
TipTips: 1. Layer it thinly multiple times! To avoid pilling, I recommend applying small amounts in thin layers, twice. This method resulted in less pilling and longer-lasting hydration. 2. For oily skin types, lightly blot excess oil before makeup! Since the formula isn't entirely oil-free, those with oily skin might experience some slipping when applying base makeup directly after this product. Gently blotting with oil blotting paper or a thin tissue before makeup application can help it adhere better.
