I've tried it both on its own and as a highlight over a pale base color. Since I'm quite sensitive to color saturation and brightness, I found it works best when applied as a focal point in the center. Unlike powder formulas, it applies with a clear, translucent color - almost like a watercolor effect✨ While it doesn't apply too thickly, the shade I tried is quite vibrant, making it suitable as an accent color.
