I was drawn to this cream because it's supposed to be great for brightening and anti-aging - perfect for my smile line concerns! The packaging is adorable, and the scent is lovely. The included scoop is cute too. The color screams "packed with vitamins," and there's a hint of lemon fragrance. I appreciate the extra lid for hygienic storage.
Now, onto the effects: I had some acne on my cheeks that I'd been covering with patches. After using this cream, the blemishes seemed to calm down and become less noticeable. If it's thanks to this product, it definitely helps with acne marks. When I apply it, my skin feels incredibly soft and hydrated. It's like I can feel the moisture seeping in!
ConsI've always had darker skin, so I wasn't expecting miracles in terms of brightening. After two weeks of use, I can't say I've noticed my complexion becoming noticeably lighter. I was also hoping for some pore care benefits, but I didn't see significant improvements there either.
The texture is quite rich, which might be great for those with dry skin, but it could be a bit heavy for combination dehydrated skin types, especially in summer. I have dry skin in winter and combination dehydrated skin in summer. As the weather's gotten warmer these past two weeks, I've really started to notice how heavy the cream feels.
I've been using it only at night, but in this humid weather, I imagine it would be too much to use under makeup. For those with oily or combination skin, this might not be the best choice - your makeup might not sit well on top of it.
TipIf you're concerned about textured skin on your nose, try this trick: Apply the cream to your nose, place a cotton pad over it, wait about 10 minutes, then gently roll it off with a cotton swab. Your nose will feel super smooth!
