  I've been using this product for about 2 weeks as part of The Hwahae Testers program. First off, it's practically fragrance-free. If you really try to smell it, you might catch a faint scent, but it's not noticeable during use. There's hardly any stickiness, and it absorbs well! The texture has some body to it, feeling like you're applying a very light gel cream. As someone with dry skin, I felt it was slightly insufficient on its own, but after application, it doesn't feel oily at all, so I'd recommend it for those with oily skin too! In terms of skin brightening, I couldn't see effects with just 2 weeks of use, but I think it's a solid product for everyday use.

  I have oily skin with sebum and pore issues, but no acne problems. For an objective review, I've been using only this serum and a toner since receiving the product, applying it generously morning and night. The texture is a clear berry color with rich hydration, and it's surprisingly more moisturizing than I expected. I thought it would feel like a typical hydrating serum, but it's actually quite thick and absorbs well, leaving a nice finish. For those with dry skin, the level of hydration might be slightly lacking. I started noticing the product's effectiveness after 3 days of use. Recently, due to the changing seasons, my skin has been quite dry. When applying mineral sunscreen or tinted products in the morning, I could see visible flaking that bothered me. However, after using this product for a few days, those issues disappeared. It provides sufficient hydration and does a great job of evening out skin texture.

  #Absorbs well The pink serum is quite unique! While it feels slightly sticky when touched with hands, it absorbs moisturizing into the skin when applied. It has great absorption. #Reasons to recommend I only use it in the evening, and true to its name as a glow serum, it gives a luminous feeling upon application. While you won't see dramatic effects on skin radiance in just two weeks, it does improve complexion. There's a subtle glow visible even after morning makeup. I think I need to use it longer to see full results.

  Cons

  Due to its thick consistency, more like an ampoule than a serum, it's difficult to spread with just a small amount. You need to pump out a decent amount to apply it properly. I think I'll go through this small bottle quite quickly.

  Tip

  I use it after sheet masks or modeling masks - a little tip to enhance absorption into the skin.

  Out of all The Hwahae Testers serums I've tried so far, this is the one I've used most frequently and am now reviewing. The rosy red, jelly-like texture applies smoothly and absorbs well into the skin. While I'm currently dealing with severe deep dryness and dead skin cells around my mouth and nose areas that are challenging to address with serum alone, I found it very comfortable and easy to use on other parts of my face. I was initially concerned about the promised glow, worried it might be too shiny or create an overwhelming dewy look (which I'm not a fan of). However, during absorption, it gives a beautiful luminosity that then softens as it sinks in. The serum provides adequate hydration on its own, allowing me to use lighter products in the following steps of my skincare routine. I think it'll work even better once the weather warms up and my skin condition improves.

  The pump makes a slight squeaking noise when dispensing the product. Other than that, I didn't find any drawbacks with the serum itself.

  Tip

  After thoroughly absorbing this serum, I found that applying a face pad significantly helped with dryness (I used Skinfood's carrot pads and Isoi's blemish pads).

Application: As you can see, the texture is like a runny gel and it absorbs well. Many say it's very sticky, but I didn't find it excessively so. It felt more like a nicely absorbing, bouncy texture!! I really care about how products feel when applied, and I liked that this one didn't feel greasy or cause any burning sensation. While it's not exactly a fresh, clean feeling, I found it easy to apply without any issues - it feels lightweight on the skin. Scent: If you're sensitive to fragrances, you'll be pleased to know it's unscented, so it shouldn't cause any problems. I appreciated the lack of artificial scents! Effects: While I didn't notice any dramatic changes, it provides good hydration and seems to give an instant glow. I've been using it for just under two weeks, but I think longer use would yield even better results. I've always been a fan of Real Barrier because their products don't feel excessive or artificial.   Skin type: Combination dehydrated/oily with occasional folliculitis on the chin area When I first pumped it out, I thought it might be too runny to give a glow, but it was surprisingly hydrating! As someone with oily skin, I usually avoid products that are too rich, but I liked how this absorbed and its texture. Using a moderate amount, it spread nicely without feeling too sticky. At first, I wasn't sure if it would have much effect, but after two days of use, I noticed my complexion looked brighter - that inner glow feeling! I'm prone to folliculitis on my chin, so I'm cautious with new products. I usually test them everywhere except my chin first. This didn't cause any blemishes or reactions, so after two days, I used it all over. It seems gentle enough that it didn't trigger any folliculitis on my chin either! For those with dry skin, it might feel a bit light, so pairing it with a moisturizing cream could work well. For oily skin types in summer, using this alone might be sufficient.
