Absolutely no irritation whatsoever! #Retinol for beginners If you have sensitive skin and find popular retinol products too harsh, give this a try! It's exciting to be able to slather on both vitamin C and retinol with zero irritation. #Oxidation-proof brown bottle The cute little brown bottle prevents oxidation and makes it easy to check how much product is left. Only downside is it runs out quickly.
ConsOpening the bottle for the first time is not easy! Those with less hand strength might need a tool... Brightening effects? Results are subtle in the short term. You need to use it consistently over a long period.
TipThe product comes in an adorable, compact brown bottle that not only protects against oxidation but also allows you to easily monitor how much is left. However, it does seem to get used up rather quickly, which is a bit disappointing. For those with super sensitive skin who typically find vitamin C serums too harsh, this product offers a glimmer of hope. It's remarkably gentle, causing no stinging or redness even when combined with retinol. This makes it an excellent choice for those looking to incorporate both ingredients into their skincare routine without the fear of irritation. While the immediate brightening effects may not be dramatic, it's important to remember that skincare is a marathon, not a sprint. Consistent, long-term use is key to seeing significant improvements in your complexion.

However, this product has a lower vitamin C concentration, so it's much gentler on the skin. It seems to have a hydrating effect too. I use it as a mask by soaking a cotton pad and applying it to my face. After spreading it all over, I focus on areas with blemishes by leaving the pad there for a bit longer.
ConsThe pure vitamin C content is only 3%, which is quite low.
TipIt's a budget-friendly product that works well as a mask, providing good hydration and overall benefits.

Although the capacity is small, that's even better. Vitamin products need to be used quickly due to oxidation, and the small capacity means I can finish it quickly, so I can apply it fresh. After applying, it absorbs quickly and spreads smoothly. Even with my sensitive skin, there was no irritation or stinging. Vitamin products can be drying, but this one stayed moisturized until morning without any dryness.
ConsThere were no disappointments! I bought it because of the good value, and I used up everything I bought. I'm planning to go buy it again.
TipI used it with a beauty device. Originally, cosmetics containing retinol were not recommended to be used with beauty devices. But since this contains only a small amount, I just used it.

In the morning, my skin looks clearer and has a nice glow!
ConsIf you have thin, dry, dehydrated, sensitive skin like mine, test it first and try using it every other day. I usually have smooth skin even with occasional exfoliation, as I use a sonic cleanser. I applied a generous amount before bed once daily. Initially, it didn't sting much, felt moisturizing, and absorbed well, so I used it for 3 consecutive days. However, the next morning, my skin felt rough even after washing and using the sonic cleanser. Exfoliating helped, so I thought it might be time for exfoliation anyway. Since vitamin C can be harsh on sensitive skin after exfoliating, I took a two-day break. When I started using it again, my skin became rough after two days, requiring exfoliation again. After another break, I tried once more, but on the third day, my skin felt rough and started to sting, so I stopped using it. I used up the remaining product on my knees. I have another bottle left. I plan to try it every other day or every third day. If it works well, I'll repurchase; if not, I'll pass it on.
TipIf you have thin, dry, dehydrated, sensitive skin like mine, make sure to test it first and try using it every other day.

I initially tried this to see if it would help with what you might call acne scars or hyperpigmentation. Not only did my complexion improve, but those reddish acne marks also faded. Unlike some other vitamin C products that can be quite harsh, this one doesn't cause any tingling or irritation. It's gentle enough that even my blemish-prone skin didn't break out or react negatively. I'm 10000% going to repurchase! Oh, and I got this for my mom to help with her dark spots - we could actually see them starting to lighten a bit. Great stuff!
ConsThe downside? The packaging is a bit inconvenient, and the amount of product seems small. Other than that, no complaints!
