However, when I applied it, there was absolutely no greasiness. In fact, when I tested it on oil blotting paper (after 2 hours), it didn't leave any oil at all, while other drying products actually produced more oil... It seems perfect for combination dehydrated skin. This product has the strongest green tint among all the green-toned brightening moisturizers with SPF I've seen so far. The Real Barrier product claims to be green but looks white when applied, and it's so incredibly oily that it ended up being abandoned... But I'm satisfied with the strong green tint of this product. As shown in the second photo: 1. Goodal green brightening moisturizer with SPF 2. Real Barrier green brightening moisturizer with SPF 3. VDL green color corrector 4. The Face Shop mint color corrector 5. The Saem green beige You can see that despite being a sunscreen, it has a similar level of green tint as the color correctors. However, it has a much thinner and lighter texture than color correctors, so when actually applied, it doesn't function as strongly as a green color corrector. It just evens out the skin tone without emphasizing redness. So even those without redness can use it as a regular sunscreen. It applies very moisturizing and light, with a pleasant feel. It goes on transparently and thinly, so there's no flaking, emphasizing of dead skin cells, or clogging of pores. It adheres well to the skin without feeling like it's sitting on top. Right after application, it feels as moisturizing as an essence, but by the time you're ready to go out, it's fully absorbed, leaving a light, fresh finish without any stickiness, oiliness, or heavy feeling. It's not artificially dried out with powder, so it feels comfortable on the skin and I really liked it. Or so I thought...
ConsIn my opinion, it doesn't provide enough brightening effect. It feels like a transparent mineral sunscreen, and when placed on oil blotting paper, it doesn't release any oil at all, similar to a soothing gel texture. It's like it forms a water barrier, if that makes sense...? It does give more of a dewy (or oily?) glow on the face than expected, but interestingly, it doesn't feel greasy.
TipIt's very similar to the Birch Brightening Moisturizer with SPF and has absolutely no oiliness, so I recommend it for combination dehydrated skin.
