I have skin prone to blemishes, small bumps, and excess oil, so I've always avoided cushions. Most cushion products contain pore-clogging ingredients like stearic acid, so I've only used liquid foundations... Liquid foundations are inconvenient for touch-ups and take longer to apply. So I searched for a cushion with good ingredients and found that the Lovely CC Cushion doesn't have any pore-clogging ingredients! I immediately purchased it. 💗 Review after use: First, I'm thrilled that this product didn't cause any breakouts! This was the most important and satisfying aspect. It's also perfectly balanced between moisturizing and matte! The texture seems suitable for all skin types, from dry to oily. Just choose the right base products for your skin type. 💗 Coverage: I have severe redness and often get reddish blemishes and small bumps on both cheeks, so coverage is essential. Applying it twice provides enough coverage that I don't need concealer, except for major blemishes or dark spots! It even covers pores. 💗 Darkening: I didn't notice much darkening, but that might be because I use a light shade. 💗 Good for touch-ups? It's great for touch-ups! The finish is slightly powdery without being too matte, so it covers well without caking unless your skin condition is really poor (based on combination dehydrated skin). 💗 Will I repurchase? Yes, I will! I'm already on my second one. 💗 For those with fair skin, go for shade 17 or 13 for a brighter look! I switched to shade 13 after it was released.
Cons1. It seems like there's not much product? Maybe because I use it daily... If used daily, it lasts about 3 weeks to a month. Still, I think the price is reasonable, so it's not too expensive. 2. The included puff is a bit awkward? I wish it was teardrop-shaped... Also, it would be better if the puff felt more dense and applied the product more smoothly. It's like the puff isn't fully packed inside? It feels a bit thick but not fully filled, if that makes sense.
TipI think it's important to choose the right base products according to your skin type. Shade 17 isn't extremely light, so for those with fair skin, I recommend shades 13 or 17. I use shade 13 on areas I want to highlight like the center of my forehead, front of my cheeks, nose bridge, smile lines, and chin tip. For blemishes and outer areas, I use shade 17!
