This alone doesn't work well for me to calm down trouble, so I use it together with Mediheal Saerom, and it works well.

To be honest, I'm not sure if it's good at calming down skin troubles, but the pore-filling function is good.

I dislike sticky ampoules, but this one is great because it's not sticky at all. It also does a wonderful job of providing sufficient moisture.

Side effects, personal case
I applied the serum just once, as a night care before going to bed.
The next morning, I could feel that my skin had changed just by washing my face. I could tell without even looking in the mirror. However, since it was a busy weekday morning, I didn't have time to look in the mirror and went about my day. It wasn't until around 7 PM when I got home and washed my face that I saw the condition of my skin - it was something I had never seen before.
I had never felt that any products didn't suit me, and I had never felt that my skin had been turned upside down. So, this condition of my skin was really shocking to me. It was not simply an irritated and large inflammatory acne, nor was it the small bumps I usually experience. Since this was a first for me, I can't exactly pinpoint what it is, but given my interest in skincare, I think it might be folliculitis.
The shape is similar to small bumps, but my skin is not in a state where small sebum-filled bumps are visible. Instead, the areas that would normally have those small bumps are now extremely red. In addition to the redness, those areas are continuously itchy, stinging, and the 'bumps' that initially looked like small bumps are gradually swelling up into a transparent, reddish color. This is really painful - they are not filling up with pus that can be squeezed out, but just swelling up transparently. Even just brushing against them is painful, and by the time they have swelled up, the pain is there even when I'm just sitting still.
I usually tend to feel a lot of heat on my face, and once that heat rises, it's hard for it to go down. That's also why I purchased this product, as it had the keyword 'heat calming'. However, the folliculitis-like skin condition caused by this product continues to have this intense heat, which I can feel even right after washing my face. This heat lasts all day long, making my skin feel like it's burning.Even though I've been using my usual skincare routine and trying different products, the affected area is not improving and is spreading further day by day. I first noticed this side effect 3 days ago, and comparing the photos from then to now, the spread is shockingly rapid. What was initially a localized issue has now covered my entire face in just two days.
The way my skin looks is so disgusting, unpleasant, and unsightly to me that I don't want to go outside, and just looking at it or in the mirror makes me feel so depressed. The photos don't even fully capture how bad it is - they look less severe and don't show even half of the reality. It's so bumpy and just revolting... Ever since my skin has become this way, I've been going out with a hat and mask to cover my face completely, even for just a short time. My face feels so hot that I can't stand it, and the heat doesn't go away even after washing. I've never experienced anything like this before, so I don't know what to do. My skin is so painful, stinging, hot, and burning, and it's just making me feel so helpless and unattractive.

My skin type: Combination, not at all sensitive. My skin tends to be on the thicker side due to dehydration and excess oil.
Since I have a very difficult-to-manage combination skin type, I am constantly trying new skincare products and enjoy doing so. I have tried almost every brand out there and have not found any products that I felt were completely unsuitable for my skin.

I don't typically experience immediate reactions or breakouts after using a new product. Rather, I'll start noticing small bumps appearing here and there a couple of days after using a new product, which is my signal that the product is not quite right for me. Given my keen interest in skincare and sensitivity to changes in my skin, I'm usually able to quickly identify when a product isn't working for me and revert to my usual, reliable products, which tend to resolve any issues within half a day.
Recently, I had been getting closer to finding the right skincare routine for my skin, and my skin had been looking clearer, with hardly any visible blemishes or bumps, according to the photos taken with my iPhone's regular camera. My friends had also been complimenting the improvement in my skin, and I had been feeling more confident about my complexion. It was with this context that I eagerly purchased the new Dr.Jart+ serum product as soon as it was launched.The main reason I immediately purchased the Dr.Jart+ Hyaluronic Acid Soothing Serum was that my skin type is combination, meaning I have dehydration as well as excess oil, blemishes, and facial heat sensitivity - essentially all the skin concerns that this product claims to address. The key marketing keywords for this Dr.Jart+ serum, prominently displayed in the product title and description, are "hydration/soothing/cooling/blemish care/skin calming", which perfectly matched the needs of my problematic skin. As someone with these skin issues, I saw no reason not to purchase this product, especially given the seemingly high concentration of the key ingredients at the $9.90 price point.

However, I later discovered that the actual ingredient concentrations have been significantly changed, which has been confirmed in other reviews as well. (The differences are truly astonishing.) I consider this to be a clear case of consumer deception, bordering on outright fraud. Dr.Jart+ has built a reputation as a trusted, popular brand across generations, with products like the Snail Cream, so I purchased this without any doubts. But this blatant modification of the formulation has severely eroded my confidence in the brand.

The disappointing aspect is that while it has a chewy texture, it is sometimes perceived as being a bit sticky.

I have dry/sensitive skin.
First, the serum has a definite cooling sensation, so it's good for soothing heat irritation.
The texture is slightly watery but bouncy, so you can feel your skin becoming plump after absorption. As the name 'Hyalsica' suggests, it provides a hydrating sensation and helps with internal dryness. I also felt the calming effects work quickly. However, if calming is your primary concern, I would recommend the Centella Ampoule from Skin1004 instead.

Applying it locally one more time to the area where trouble seems to be arising can help the soothing effect be felt more effectively!

Although this serum is quite hydrating, it may feel slightly lacking in moisture, so it may be insufficient on its own for dry skin or extremely dry days.
In the winter, I layered it with a moisturizing cream or hydrating ampoule.

Whenever the seasonal change comes, my skin would get red and irritated, causing me a lot of stress. However, after applying this product, I felt a soothing sensation that seemed to slightly lower my skin temperature!
The lightweight, watery serum-like texture absorbs quickly without leaving a heavy or sticky feeling. After application, it doesn't sit on the surface but finishes with a refreshing, matte look, making it suitable for oily and combination skin types as well!!
Especially when I apply it right before a breakout, I can clearly feel the calming effect the next day, as the redness significantly reduces. I also appreciate that it doesn't cause any irritation!

Store this serum in the refrigerator and try using it. Applying it cool will enhance the soothing effect!!
