Luckily, I got the chance to try it out as part of The Hwahae Testers program. My skin has become extremely dry over the past few months, shifting to a dry skin type. I have severe deep dryness, so if I apply rich products directly, I tend to get blemishes. I've found that starting with hydrating products and finishing with richer ones works best for me. This product has a thin consistency, but once applied, it absorbs into the skin with a plumping effect that feels like it's deeply hydrating my skin, which I love. It's not too lightweight, provides just the right amount of moisture, and seems to have impressive long-lasting hydration.
ConsDue to the fermented ingredients, those with super sensitive skin should be cautious. I have sensitive skin that doesn't usually agree with Bifida and Galactomyces, but fortunately, this product worked well for me. It's not oil-free, so those with very oily skin might want to avoid it.

My skin is in really bad shape, so I'm using acne medication, topical prescriptions, and over-the-counter products. I've applied so many exfoliating treatments that my skin looks red and swollen as if it's burned, and the skin is peeling off, causing a stinging sensation. As you can see, my skin barrier is completely wrecked right now.. Let's start the review! I've been using this for about a week, and given how extremely sensitive my skin is right now, I needed to be careful. When I first applied it, there was absolutely no stinging sensation. Some of the top-ranked ampoules on Hwahae caused a stinging feeling when applied, but this one didn't, which suggests it's very gentle. While I've used other products to soothe my skin over the past week, this one seems to be an excellent product too! After using it for a week, my skin barrier has somewhat recovered, and my skin looks clearer. My acne is quite severe, so I couldn't attach photos, but I could definitely see that my skin was calmer and more healed! Lastly, I think this is a cost-effective product with a relatively large volume among ampoules. I definitely intend to purchase it again once I've used up my current ampoules!
ConsThe downside is that, like other skin barrier repair ampoules, it seems to make the skin a bit oily after application. However, this is a common characteristic of ampoules that are effective for skin barrier repair and hydration, so I actually think this makes it more trustworthy! (This is just my personal opinion)
TipBefore bed, I applied toner and then absorbed the ampoule twice. On some nights, I used a modeling mask, aloe mask, this ampoule, emulsion, and cream in that order, which really speeds up skin barrier recovery! Everyone should take note of this, especially those with acne-prone skin. It's crucial to cool down the skin, so definitely try the sequence of modeling mask, aloe, and this ampoule!

Skin (elasticity): As the hydrating formula gets absorbed to some extent, it somewhat refines the skin texture. However, it's not like I saw dramatic results in just a week. I'll need to observe a bit longer, but it hasn't significantly improved my pores or blemishes yet! Skin barrier: It feels like it's filling in moisture from deep within, and unlike regular hydrating essences, it doesn't evaporate quickly. So it seems to help the skin retain moisture well. The ingredients are gentle, and I predict that using it for about a month might help calm down blemishes. Unless you have very oily skin, I think even those with sensitive skin can use this comfortably. It doesn't seem to be a product that stresses the skin.
ConsOiliness: As it gets absorbed into the skin with that bouncy texture, it does produce a bit of oil! When I'm bare-faced in the morning, some oil does come through, but just blotting with oil paper makes it matte again! And if you apply matte makeup products, you don't really need to worry about oiliness much! If there's one thing that's a bit disappointing, it's that the product doesn't have as big an effect as I expected. I just think it's a good product for daily use.

The balanced oil and moisture ratio made my skin feel comfortable.
ConsI also used it in the morning, but due to its richness, my face became oily quickly after applying makeup. It might be suitable for daily use in the depths of winter, but I recommend using it as part of your nighttime routine otherwise.
TipGreat as a booster when added to modeling masks! It also paired well with retinol treatments.
