It seems slightly lighter than the average 21 shade, but I think you can safely purchase your usual shade. Right after applying it to the skin, it feels moisturizing. When you gently blend it with a brush or puff and then pat it in, it sets to a soft, powdery finish. It fills in pores well, giving the skin a blurred, flawless appearance. I love that the applicator comes with a built-in brush, eliminating the need for additional tools. The brush picks up quite a bit of concealer, so you need to control the amount before applying it to your face. It's a bit disappointing that some product goes to waste this way. For best results in minimizing pores, use a brush or puff to gently press the product into the skin while filling in pores. Those with oily or combination skin might find this works well as a foundation alternative. Finishing with a setting spray can improve its longevity.
