While it can be used after a quick face wash during the day, I find it's best suited for nighttime use. The texture is more rich than moisturizing, making it perfect to apply after an evening shower. Despite its thick consistency, it absorbs well, allowing me to quickly apply it to both children. My youngest has super sensitive skin, so after trying it on my eldest for a day, I used it on the little one. When applied to areas they scratch before bedtime, I noticed a visible reduction in scratching. I'll definitely keep using it. It leaves their skin incredibly soft and smooth - baby skin at its finest! Even my rough hands are gradually improving. I'm absolutely thrilled with this product! While suitable for babies, it might be too rich for those with oily skin to use on their face. I initially tried scooping it out with the spoon, but found it wasteful. Since I'm applying it after washing anyway, I started using my hands instead. This method works better - there's no waste and it's just right. It glides on smoothly without any effort. After application, there's no sticky residue left behind. While it's fragrance-free, there's a subtle, refreshing scent. I have extremely dry skin with dermatitis, so I'm cautious about what I use. I'm very meticulous about checking ingredients, and the Bedtime Ritual Cream's formula is excellent! For someone like me who lacks both oil and moisture, the oil content was just right. However, I found the hydration slightly lacking. So, I apply a second layer after a short while. Even with an additional application, there's no pilling or residue. Despite being a cream, it doesn't feel heavy on the skin. It seems a bit lacking in hydration for use on the body - I'd recommend it primarily for facial use. I wish it had a bit more moisture content. For those like me who need to apply it all over the face and body, the amount might not be sufficient. For extremely dry areas, you may need to apply an extra layer.
