As someone with dry skin, I love that I can apply this cushion without much fuss or technique. This cushion seems like it's only suitable for those with extremely dry skin during summer. The formula isn't particularly hydrating. I had tried the previous version of the Clio Mesh cushion and it didn't work for me at all. I thought Clio products just weren't for me. But when this new version came out, I was still on the hunt for the perfect cushion, so I tested it at Olive Young. To my surprise, I thought, "Hey, this isn't bad!" and decided to buy it. While I can't say it feels super hydrating, it has that trendy lightweight texture and adheres well to the skin. What I really love is how it looks on my skin when I sweat in humid weather. As we all know, a light texture often means less coverage, but as someone who used to use Amuse, I'm satisfied with the moderate coverage this provides. I wanted to try a mesh cushion for summer, so I picked this up. I've used other Clio cushions in the same shade before, so I stuck with what I knew. My skin usually falls between shades 19-21 for most foundations. Shade 19 gives me a slightly brighter look, while 21 is a touch darker. If you have a light 21 complexion, this would be perfect for you! Since it's a mesh cushion, controlling the amount of product was a bit tricky, but that might just be me... Pro tip: Adjust the amount of product on the back of the cushion as you use it. Try this: Tap the mesh once with the puff, then blend the product on the back of the puff cover before applying to your face!
