Compared to BBIA products, this has a cooler tone which I really like. It's a slightly pinkish brown shade. It's barely noticeable, unfortunately. Even though I have a fairly light complexion, I can hardly tell if I've applied it or not. - sq**********Dry SkinSensitive SkinWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedMar 10, 2025
I have dry skin with a shade between 19 and 20. I fell for Ameli's brilliant marketing and bought it as soon as it launched. I've been using it consistently since receiving it. The color is perfect for adding natural contours to the face! It blends seamlessly, and even if you apply too much, it doesn't leave patchy marks. The shade is great for defining facial features naturally, so I use it generously from the eyes to the bridge of the nose. It's so versatile that I worry I might run out quickly. The powder fallout is average. Usually, I go for brighter tones or use pink-beige for a radiant look, which can sometimes result in visible patchiness when contouring. But with this, there's none of that. It's so natural-looking that you might wonder if it's even there, but it makes a subtle yet noticeable difference! The quality of the built-in brush is good, and I understand it's designed for vertical strokes to fill in areas. However, when I'm in a hurry and swipe quickly, the brush handle leaves marks on the product surface... It's like it's getting scratched. Also, it's so natural that those who prefer a more dramatic, noticeable contour might not like it. I use it to create a natural base and contour around the eyes, then add a bit more with the brush to blend it up to the bridge of the nose. It looks so natural on fair skin, I'm really satisfied! Since it's inevitably a powder compact formula, when contouring the face, any residual foundation can mix with oils on the skin and cause the brush to get clumpy. I find it helps to lightly set with a fine, lightweight powder like Météorites to control oil before applying this contour!
